I don't know man, this whole injury subplot really just seems like the author quitting on the story. There was really no build up or anything, just suddenly Hanamichi's back is fucked.



The story was really starting to peak, and there's only one volume remaining. It's pretty sad really.

Such an emotional chapter. They better win this game after fighting this hard.
