THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER.

                ----------------------------------------

Kazu's Kage Bunshins didn't fool Falco at all. the dude fired multiple fangs in quick succession.

in all seriousness though, this was one wicked chapter. seeing 6 of the 8 roads in succession was friggin' sweet. I especially liked the combination of Sora and Blackburn's Wind and Thunder, respectively. Makes me wonder if Sora can use his road in tandem with other Roads. definitely looking forward to more of this.

P.S. Emily was incredibly, incredibly hawt and droolworthy in this chapter. I'd tap that without a second thought. xD

umm

i guess im the only one who is put off by the whole "random shit exploding for no reason" dbz-like approach to fight scenes we have witnessed in air gear lately. at least in the past, O!G would offer explanations about the techniques(all of them were bad, but still) but now its just random cool stuff happening for no reason. :<

I beg to differ. of all the attacks Sleeping Forest used so far, the only one (IMO) that needs an explanation is the combination of Sora and Blackburn. of course, its gonna some bogus physics theory that Oh! great came up with while he was smoking a joint. for the most part, the abilities SF has demonstrated so far are ones that we've seen before. call this chapter the tip of the iceberg. or since the analogy of beef was brought up, this is just the appetizer. ;)

well, explanations or not, the action(and story) stopped making sense by the time the underground children appeared. i mean, the art is good, but like TenTen, i can't take anything seriously anymore.

and yes, i do understand the story, but i still think it's bad, really bad.

but damn do i like the art.

This, my friends, is what distinguishes a mangaka, and an awesome mangaka. :D

My issues with Air Gear (and Tenjou Tenge) lie on the execution, rather than the plot/story itself. even though Air Gear shares a lot of parallels with TenTen, to the point where Air Gear becomes predictable, I still find enjoyment in Oh! Great's story, no matter how convoluted it becomes. could it be better? very much so. But Oh! great's bread and butter is drawing incredibly voluptuous underage girls in skimpy outfits or their birthday suits. the story compliments the artwork, which should be the other way around. but damn, I do love reading oh! Great's manga.

pretty cool if you want to consider it a filler chapter. i like how we are gettng so much action, keeps it real interesting.

i just bohers me sometimes especially since i am used to actually paying attention to storylines, but in AG, doing that ruins the experience since it's so silly and random and doesn't work well.

i think he should hire someone to do the storylines and just do the art.

I think it was really good. It can get better but for a start it was cool.

Falco's attack was pretty awesome.
