How hard is this to read, raw?

First time a manga made me laugh

well, time to get started.



seemed like a great start. one of the funniest first chapters I have come across. really feel like the humour will be based on Yotsuba doing dumb shit. will see how this goes though.

I bought the first volume of this in Japanese last year and I've only just got round to reading it!



All I can say is Yotsuba is strange but so cute!

Her name suits her perfectly! =D



Glad I actually got round to reading it, and the Japanese is really simple, so no problems there xD

Funny and cute.  Its dangerously walking the thin line between sweet, innocent girl and retarded dumbass.  For now I'll just consider her sweet and innocent, I hope her constant mistakes and miscommunication dont grate on me in the future.

Well I'm 55 chapters into it and can say it didnt end up grating at all, mostly feels natural in a 'she's just 5 years old' kind of way and doesnt veer too much into 'she's meant to be 5 not 1' territory.



I also like the fact that Yotsuba isnt always happy smiley go lucky, but just like any 5 year old, makes mistakes and cries when told off or isnt allowed to do anything she likes.

Very very strong start to the manga up until now. Just got done watching Azumanga so this will be a real treat.
