Genshiken Chapter 125 Discussion

                        The guys from the first part are back, including the couple.  Their talk is women until the couple came to announce that non-otaku girl is pregnant (actually, it was a lie for the opener to talk about how Madarame still cannot give up on her).  She suggested to choose Sue.

And just like that, the theory that Spotted Flower is actually the in canon future is over. :-)

MADARAME x SAKI FOREVER!!!

Madarame too pure and too inexperienced. Knew he couldn't really let go of his love for Saki. that blow was the one he needed to move on so glad Saki makes an appearance.



Also love how she now just fits in with the group.

I didn't see the twist about the pregnancy coming ... smart to expose the feelings of Madarame still here. I like the setting of Spotted Flower as I always imagine Saki and Madarame ending together (personal wish)



I'm really happy it's Sue, I shipped her immediately after the discussion of Saki and Madarame about their relation and it's a no-go.



Happy to see Sasahara and the old folks, not see them before the final chapter would have been dissapointing because the journey began with them, so this chapter feel really satisfying 5/5

Best chapter in ages and Kousaka with the kill shot.

Sue is the chosen one? Good, id prefer if he would end up with Saki, but well.

Kosaka was merciless. And now we know why Saki shows up only a few times in Nidaime. With her in action, the drama is finished in seconds.



Also, loved how she showed how the reason for turning down Sue was bullshit as I mentioned back then:

And seriously, no choice makes sense for the continuation of the manga (unless it was Keiko, who could disappear with Madarame from the story), but it's a damn cowardly move after all this harem shit for that long.



Specially the reasons for not dating Sue and Keiko. Wtf is I prefer to see her fawning over Ogi and I won't date you because you mention Saki too much.



Well, not that Sue can't keep acting the same around Ogi AND date Madarame even if we accept a senseless reason like that. And what about just asking Keiko to stop mentioning Saki? Problem solved!



It's like, Angela was really easy to create the reason and after all the drama with Hato there was also an acceptable reason based on all we see.



But with the other two...



Hoping for more otaku stuff and new characters, specially new male members for the club to balance the POVs

As a recovering Madarame I understand his pain and the need to bury himself in doujinshi, but damn first meeting with his old friends and Saki shows up? BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Poor bastard is doomed to suffer.

This chapter had the old Genshiken feeling and I loved it, especially Madarame in Otaku mood xD





Really interesting development too.

Finally, Genshiken is getting interesting again.
