Genshiken Chapter 91 Discussion

S**t really did hit the fan there lol, maybe Madarame breaking his wrist is a good thing, especially if it's his dominant hand if you know what I mean lmao.



I can't wait to see Keiko meet Angela, I originally was hoping for a mini-showdown between the two but I don't see it happening mostly because Angela doesn't mind sharing lol.



Who do I want Madarame to end up with? Sue, mostly because he's the only one who plays along with her parodies, and more Madarame/Sue Parodies is a plus



Who I Think will most likely end up with Madarame at the current Chapter? Keiko, she's the only one who hasn't outright scared him off yet.  I can only see a Sue/Madarame ending if they get locked up in a room for a few hours or her competitive instincts kick in, whenever Keiko is around Madarame Sue just happens to interfere at the right time.



Will Madarame ever get his One Night Stand with Angela? Unlikely but possible, Angela will leave that door open for as long as possible, Threesomes Foursomes or whatever included. :-P



Madarame / Hato? He'll probably turn him and down and stay friends kind of deal, I can't see the Author going down that route. His experience with Saki rejecting him will probably motivate him to end that possibility whenever he feels is appropriate, instead of being stuck with a requited love for years, slowly gnawing at you away.

Angela taking things to a whole new lvl...god damn it this show is epic. It has everything anyone could ask for.

Wow... Harem ending, seriously?

When Sue hit Angela there was something like "let's have sex together" in speach bubble :P

Angela is awesome. She just went and killed all the unnecessary drama and stalling the series could've had. The author really met my expectations. Sure, I'm not crazy about Madarame's harem story, but still, he's conducting it very well.



I know Angela won't get Mada, but she damn well deserves more than the other girls.



Btw, Mouretsu cosplay was awesome.

Not gonna lie, this manga's getting weird, and not in a good way. Before, it had an air of realism about it that I really liked. But now it's all over the place and feels like its pandering to 'shippers' and the like. Previous story arcs were compelling too, but Hato's arc has become repetitive and nonsensical.

So i guess there's no more tip-toeing around it since Angela pretty much spelled it out for Madarame, good, now maybe he'll man up and finally decide on how he feels about...oh, wait...he ran away.

Angela was brilliant this chapter. She seems to be more interested about making Madarame happy than just being her girlfriend. She's an unlikely candidate though, because I doubt a long-distance relationship would be that interesting to portray.



I think Keiko could work. She has a laid-back personality similar to Angela's, and that would make for pretty funny antics with Sasahara.



. . . Though that'd make Spotted Flower even more unnerving to read, I guess.

This entire volume has just been beating around the bush, so I'm finally glad it looks like it will be concluded soon. I'm truly tired of this arc and its associated drama and can't wait to see something new happen for Genshiken.
