Well fun filler chapter about Snorlax.

                        I don’t know why the swimmer didn’t just swim around snorlax, but that was pretty funny tempting him with honey covered bulbasaur.

though some plot holes, pretty good adaption for the game except for the absent of the poke'flut.



the end was hilarious too xDD

Nice references overall.

Swimmer looks just like the sprite from the games. Seems like his Slowpoke knows Surf, so I guess that's not the prize HM for this race.

The Pokédex seems to be the in-universe way of checking the opponent's HP as we see it in the games.

Honey used as a way of luring out Pokémon was implemented as a mechanic in gen 4, although you were supposed to cover trees with Honey, not Pokémon. Now I wonder if this manga influenced future games in any way...

Haha. Why didn't Red try to catch the Snorlax? They should have races like this in the Pokemon game. Get on it Gamefreak.

A disappointing absence of the PokéFlute to awake Snorlax, but overall a quite fun chapter!
