Nodame Cantabile Chapter 129 Discussion

Stresemans reaction to her disappearance was funny, maybe Nodame went back to japan to her family, because she can't handle the pressure or something.

I feel so sad after reading the last chapter, everything is falling apart. And through Kineta's post I realised that Nodame probably really is going back to Japan and giving up on her goal / Chiaki. And I don't know if Chiaki coming after her this time (which he will do, he loves her and he isn't himself without her) will do any good...  



But I do also want to say that I don't think this is only Chiaki's fault. He realizes how important Nodame is for him, but being asked to marry her is a bit too much at that point. Furthermore Chiaki knows that performing with him is Nodame's only goal and he finds it stupid for her to quit after reaching only that goal and wants her to continue being great (that was somewhere in a chapter but I can't exactly find which one).

Tanioka's and Harisen's reactions were my favorites XD

Eh see I don't think people blame Chiaki for not responding to Nodame's proposal. Even Nodame said herself that she didn't know why she asked him.



But here's the thing. Chiaki has NEVER told Nodame he loves her! Remember when she threw her arms around him and asked if he loved her? He still hasn't answered. I think what Nodame wants is for him to let her know she's important to him, because how is she supposed to know if he never says it? And this is materialized in his trivializing of her dream to perform a concerto with him. His ignoring her dream translates to his ignoring her love - I believe that's how Nodame sees it, which is why she becomes the most depressed when it has anything to do with Rie or concertos in general.



It's come to the point of no return or it's awfully close. Either Chiaki has to act or he's going to lose her, because I think Nodame is finally getting tired of loving him without any response of love in return.

i think she's going to see Chiaki and talk to him in person. i think she just didn't want to talk to him on the phone or something. Talking in person is always way more intense.
