We all know Nodames family has NO clue about anything going on in the world, so of course they didnt watch her awesomely amazing performance.

I think it was cool that she was getting hateful and loving reviews, mixed reviews make it interesting.

Nodame is probably in "Celebrity Shock" And returning to Japan, more than likely to her parents.

Im going with this quote from Kneekey (I forgot to quote it and DONT feel like rewriting everything I just wrote! D:

*SIGH* and it saddens me, but i don't think we'll have a nodame and chiaki reunion for a whillllllle. i imagine they'll be seperated for a while and then, of course, chiaki will drop everything and chase after her <3

I agreeeee~~ I want themt o be separated AGAIN so Chiaki can THINK about Nodames sudden proposal SERIOUSLY, i want Nodame to go through another change and then Chiaki to chase her to the ends of the earth. That. My friends. Would be amazing.

Good chapter. I'm glad there were mixed reviews rather than just good ones. And Elise is very.. enthusiastic. lol.

yeah me too! it showed that she's not conforming to the masses and playing what people want to hear, she's playing her own style and of course some people aren't going to appreciate it. I love all the reaction faces from everybody, especially chiaki's uncle looking it up in a middle of a meeting lol.

Urgh!! I really want to know how nodame and chiaki are going to work out. What's gonna happen to them? Is she gonna go back to school? Is she gonna do another performance??? Can't wait for the next chapter~!

great chapter but poor Chiaki he hasn't been able to speak to her since her performance :( and wonder where she went off to...

If that bastard Shinichi had realized how important it was for her to do a concerto with him, this never would have happened, but he NEVER considered her dream - not once. He just goes off and does concertos with Rie, never considering her feelings. Shinichi deserves what hes getting, but I feel bad for Nodame. All of this is driving her away from the piano and it's sad.

A part of me wants her to go to Chiaki, but the other part doesn't. Chiaki was the one who acted like a jerk, he needs to apologize.

I feel like that too and also i dont feel satisfied with this chapter at all, next one now~ *twitch*

First of all, omg LOL! Nodame's performance was on youtube and the whole world watched it, except for her family XD... That was just amazing. Youtube <3

Anyway, Nodameee what's wrong with you? :( I hope she'll be able to solve her problems and face Chiaki soon. As for Chiaki though - he definitely deserves it! A part of me wants him to go to her and apologize, but the other part of me wants Nodame to come to him. Ahh.

Elise is hilarious~

Eh see I don't think people blame Chiaki for not responding to Nodame's proposal. Even Nodame said herself that she didn't know why she asked him.

But here's the thing. Chiaki has NEVER told Nodame he loves her! Remember when she threw her arms around him and asked if he loved her? He still hasn't answered. I think what Nodame wants is for him to let her know she's important to him, because how is she supposed to know if he never says it? And this is materialized in his trivializing of her dream to perform a concerto with him. His ignoring her dream translates to his ignoring her love - I believe that's how Nodame sees it, which is why she becomes the most depressed when it has anything to do with Rie or concertos in general.

It's come to the point of no return or it's awfully close. Either Chiaki has to act or he's going to lose her, because I think Nodame is finally getting tired of loving him without any response of love in return.

I fully agree with that.. I know Nodame's proposal was quite a shock for everyone, but he's never said anything about how he feels about Nodame. Also in Paris (especially after the first kiss) he didn't get irritated or started denying when people called Nodame his girlfriend. Maybe he just got tired of it, but I think it's not that. But after kissing her for.. 3 times (I think) he's still said nothing and continues denying his feelings. I don't get it.

Also.. a lot of people here were saying that Chiaki really loves Nodame.. But are you sure of that? Chiaki's crazy about music. What if he just loves music in Nodame, not Nodame herself? That's why Franz told him to make a distinction - music or a relationship. Well... after his words Chiaki kissed Nodame.. I guess he made a choice, but sometimes I feel as if he's more worried about her playing rather than herself.

What if Nodame doesn't need him anymore? Remember, on the first page of one the latest chapters it was written something like "I've come this far without him. I don't need him anymore". What if she also loved him playing, his music, his passion and not himself?

All I know is that if Chiaki doesn't go after her right now, she'll never come back, because it's Nodame. She tried hard, and it looks like it's hurting her, I highly doubt she could return to playing like that again, if Chiaki leaves her. And that idiot can easily choose work over her.. But I hope this time it won't be like that.

Cheesy happy-endings are boring, but I always wish for the characters to be happy, so maybe a happy-end is not a bad thing.. "Nodame Cantabile" is already a great masterpiece.

okay, i'm feeling a LOT of chiaki hate in all these comments and i don't think they're justified. yes, he shouldn't have shoved nodame's proposal off like THAT, but come on--we were all just as shocked as he was.

and i personally think nodame is going to japan. well, she's definately going somewhere outside the country--they reallllllly hinted that her passport was missing. i'm hoping that if she does go back to japan, we'll get to see all of our favorite old characters again! yay!! ryu, masumi, and paper-fan-sensei!! oh how i missed you!! <3

also, i love that she's getting mixed reviews. i think it's very unique to her style--that it's something vibrant and new, but is so completely different from the original that devoted fans of the classics might be appalled.

i think the best images in this chappie were the dejected chiaki face(p.28), the nodame goat face as an empty shell (p.14), and the nodame face with the tank and elise (p.13) lol

*SIGH* and it saddens me, but i don't think we'll have a nodame and chiaki reunion for a whillllllle. i imagine they'll be seperated for a while and then, of course, chiaki will drop everything and chase after her <3

Elise was awesome.  Lol.

Seriously, what IS going through Nodame's mind?  What is making her not able to play?  The fact that she's shocked at herself for not wanting to see Chiaki?  That's the reason I think, but then again, she refused to answer the call/text from Chiaki, so maybe not.

Answers are needed, damn it!

I personally find that neither Chiaki or Nodame are at fault. What really bugs me is that streissman's agent lady. She's really pushy, and though that may be comical and totally business like, I just don't like it when she pushes my favorite characters into doing it her way, just so she can reek the benefits.

I personally think she's going home to Japan and not to Chiaki.  She left her cell phone behind, which means she really doesn't want to talk to him.

Remember, this performance was supposed to be her "last".  Streissman convinced her to do one on stage performance before giving it all up.  She's done that, and while she "won" in a sense, she has also lost... lost meaning Chiaki.  She's never felt like she belongs in Paris, and which Chiaki off fulfilling his own dreams, she probably lost sight of what she wants.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she's going home like she went home after losing the competition in Japan.

You just convinced me of your view.  This makes sense.
