Hakimu's being the terrorist was rather surprising. This chapter brings out the topic of terrorism, economy and energetic ressource. As we can see, finding a new source of energy can have a bad influence on country for which economy relay on energetic ressource.

Although it would probably dig up the gap between poor and rich countries, if it's on the hand of a small and powerful minority, the poor countries would probably not have access to this source of energy.

I think it's good for Hachi to get exposed to perspectives that challenge his own- although maybe not to the extent that they come close to blowing him up.
