Gantz Chapter 383 Discussion

What a shame. Still one of my favourite manga, but that was a bad ending. He gave up, we could all come up with something a lot better than that, but he gave up, didn't want to do anymore and that was it.

Still a less rushed ending then Eden No Ori

If you want an explanation other than Unreliable Narrator, you can assume it was a hallucination brought on by dehydration, hypothermia and imminent death.Narrarator? Isn't it third person omniscient? It's not like we saw the scene from one of the dying character's points of view. I think it's more likely lazy storytelling, based on what we've seen from this manga before. Oku isn't one for subtlety and I believe he'd make that more overt if it were true.

I hope Miura(Berserk) doesn't do the same mistake as Oku.

That ending was pretty weak.  I was enjoying up through the first third of the final arc after that it started to lose it.

I didn't think the ending was horrible, just the epitome of mediocrity.

It was just incredibly cliche and predictable (and resolved little, if anything).

While it was somewhat marred by this last arc, I still think the series, for me, deserves an 8/10 as a testimony to the quality of the earlier parts of the series.

Good, evberybody's happy but I was hoping to get a sigh of Kaze and Takeshi once again.



Anyway, I read this manga long after it was released and was describing it as: The game of thrones without the thrones just killing the people for no reason. But this end went full Disney.

The ending was alright. I started reading this manga three years ago and has become one of my favorite mangas. Im going to miss reading this :C
