An ant cannot suffer like a human being (not even close) so comparing a human's life with an ant's is quite unscientific, but whatever.According to that, Human Perception has an universal value, and beings that don't share it are inferior. But isn't that just saying different=inferiority?
While human feelings are relevant to human interaction, they aren't for other species. Wouldn't we be from their perspective different, and as such, inferior?

A few pages later they start bitching about how humans have little regard for lesser species. Why can't that be just "how things are"?
Not to mention they also say, "Even if hundreds or millions of you were to die, it would be of no importance of us. From our point of view, you are microscopic. No more than insects."
Isn't that way of thinking, human-like and arrogant?

Honestly, I think the mangaka is just pulling shit out of his ass and trying to find a way to end this manga (remember he said he wanted to finish it by the end of THIS YEAR!).He's been pulling shit out of his ass since chapter 1, I don't know why that surprises you. I mean, I like Gantz for what it is, but let's not pretend that this crazy bullshit that comes out of nowhere is anything new.
