This is going too slowww. Heck, History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi's fights are quicker than this.

Reika has been alive for quite a while for a series like Gantz, wouldn't be surprised if it's her time to go especially since Kurono II threw the Tae card at her, or maybe it just a defensive measure to get her to run away but that obviously didn't work.



Has Reika been shown to use a katana well enough like the rest?

It can show anything you want. It's not evidence of anything nor mean anything though.

Reika picking up Kurono's katana to save his life and finish that gigantic chrome creature how matter how much he despised her was a pretty badass thing for her to do. She better not end up sacrificing herself in the end though.
