GANTZ Chapter 302 Discussion

That guy reminds me of Light, predicting all the deaths around him. And is it just me or is the Gantz author just randomly throwing ideas around? Akashic records? Matrix? God? Come on...

Okay ... so the translator guy was more than he appeared and has incredible powers ... but that's all =/? Not doing as much explaining as I was hoping for.

                        "God" guy looks like Gantz and probably is. Other than that, another chapter that really meant nothing.

That guy is not gantz. I looked at there pictures side by size and they are different.



I am starting to feel that the writer is just screwing with us now.

Okay.. a lot better than the last chapter. Although nothing really happened except some god guy was killing people.



I'm interested again.. looking forward to the 29 pages next week.

Okay. Definitely more interesting than the fat girl thing, although 1,2,3 is still around.. First, Sebastian says the fat girl is a receiver from Akashic records. This is like the “Mind of God”. Is a theory that everything that already happened is recorded in the collective subconscious. This would make sense when thinking about Gantz’s ability to revive people from the data he has. Next, he mentions the simulated reality, which was pretty lame. Then he talks about God an how world may be the devil’s playground. I’m not sure if all these explanations complement each other or if he’s just dissing.  I really hope that doesn’t come that the whole world is actually like Gantz, a world created by some sadist bastard.

Interesting he's talking just like the 100-pointer back in the Osaka arc... saying a lot of what he said word for word.
