GANTZ Chapter 302 Discussion

I quite liked this chapter, 5/5 from me XD!



Wow, does anyone else think the Otaku is possessed? Or was he always like that?

Sebastian's certainly the closest thing to the actual devil in the story, even more so than the Oni Aliens. Being able to control fate like that in such a dramatic way before getting transported out of the scene; now that's scary.



He should stop hogging all the red pills to himself.

The words of Sebastian, in particular regarding the worth of human life. It's really just a joke if you think about all the deaths so far, how Gantz toyed with them and how easy it is to create a copy that works just as well as an original body. I mean you could say that all Gantz players aren't proper humans anymore. Just copies.

the last scene was pretty sweet though.

That guy had a really good design to be only an otaku he is perfect for that role.

Okay. Definitely more interesting than the fat girl thing, although 1,2,3 is still around.. First, Sebastian says the fat girl is a receiver from Akashic records. This is like the “Mind of God”. Is a theory that everything that already happened is recorded in the collective subconscious. This would make sense when thinking about Gantz’s ability to revive people from the data he has. Next, he mentions the simulated reality, which was pretty lame. Then he talks about God an how world may be the devil’s playground. I’m not sure if all these explanations complement each other or if he’s just dissing.  I really hope that doesn’t come that the whole world is actually like Gantz, a world created by some sadist bastard.Nice interpretation.



What I feel about this chapter: "Wait... what..?" and "lolwat Matrix?"
