The journalist did mention there was other mysterious destruction in other parts of the world, as well as that cult in Germany that worships the Gantz orb. This was going to happen sooner or later, but the reveals are always so good.

Yeah either some cosplayers, or maybe a seperate Gantz team.. Gantz never fails to make things interesting.

I know this post is from years ago, but gonna answer anyway for others who are still visiting the threads. The journalist brought up the mysterious incidents before. Was in chapter 227 iirc. Recently things just became crazier the story is heading towards a great disaster. It was also mentioned that there are more black balls all around the world. Wouldn't surprise me if there are hundreds of teams overall. The guys from this chapter are just another Japanese group.

It turns out that fighting the Nurarihyon Aliens meant fighting all sorts of Yokai that decided to come out to terrorize Osaka tonight out of all nights. This is gonna be one of the craziest nights yet!
