That's it huh? Happily ever after...certainly can't say I'm satisfied with this but I also didn't really expect anything great.

After following this series for around seven years (holy shit) I honestly don't know how to feel. On one hand this gave closure to pretty much all characters and their motivation to do things. On the other hand it still feels like it wasted some potential.

The series had it's ups and downs. It was absolutely FANTASTIC at times but over the last couple of years I didn't feel the excitement anymore. Overall I'll rate it a 8/10.

No more Claymore from now on. It feels weird, empty...gotta get used to it.

Weak ending, pretty disappointing.

+1 So many unanswered questions.

So if this is the final chapter why does MAL say there are 4 more to go to Chap 159?  Odd, should I just click them off as read?

Satisfying ending if that is what this was though, wouldn't have minded a bit longer epilogue but I won't complain. 8/10 series.

Ended on a good note, really hope the anime returns. Should start from the War in the North arc and continue from there.

Good interview and the format was funny.

Some interesting points from the mindset of Yagi and his thought process when making Claymore (or any manga).

- Like mention before he didn't plan out the world of Claymore too much in advance. Despite as important as most readers thought the outer continent was it was not that important to Yagi. The main focus of Claymore was the warriors themselves. "I prioritized telling the tales of the warriors over world concept and setting."

- His thoughts on how a protagonist doesn't have to be involved with everything in the world was nice, puts the way Claymore ended in better perspective from his POV and combined with the above I understand why he ended the way he did better now.

- He seems well aware of the lack of background art details.

- Not really directly related to anything but I always find it interesting how much influence older series like Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken) inspire manga artists like Yagi and such growing up.

SO MUCH YES! OMFG! THIS ENDING!

At first, I was upset. Because I felt like the excuse not to go to the main land was a copout to end the series quicker. But..CARES GIVEN AT THIS POINT?!

ZERO!

IRENE IS ALIVE!!! I KNEW IT! ;________________;

*fangirls like a psychopath*

IRENEEEE! ;____________;

I mean, I'll still probably give it 7-8/10 but IRENEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I'm so happy ;_;

Considering all the ways this manga could have ended, I am rather satisfied with this ending.

It was a fun ride.
