Claymore Chapter 144 Discussion

Raki Got beaten Really fast so I'm now sad, but it's not like I expected him to stand much of a chance in the first place. He could probably take out multiple regular youma, but Pricilla's not exactly a normal youma.



Next up is the rematch of Pricilla VS. Claire&co. Let's find out if they stand half a chance against her. my bet's that they use dirt-eater to distract her, then fail at a sneak attack.

So there are no surprises up the long-awaited hero Raki's sleeves? I'm disappointed.  It looks like he's just a plot device for Clare to bring forth her anger after all.

Do I have to complain in every chapter discussion about how short this is for a monthly series? Can't it have 10 more pages? The artwork isn't even that great compared to Berserk, Vagabond, etc.

I'm starting to worry that we might be drawing near the end of the entire Claymore series. Any hope of this series being 30+ volumes? Will we ever visit the Mainland? If Priscilla dies, will the series continue?

He wasn't infected, Priscilla inserted her arm into him. I don't know if he still has any regeneration left after Dae removed Priscilla flesh from him but this still may be of relevance because back then Priscilla also claimed that she doesn't care if he dies and even that she has something else to do but still went out of her way to save him. Right now if she really wanted him dead then he would be worm food already (even at that level she still flash-stepped past him without effort) but he isn't which may mean that she missed vital parts on purpose.

Anyway I don't really care that much either way if he survives or not but I hope that if he do then it will be thanks to some plausible and important reason, not just because his Plot Armor was strong enough, I don't dislike him like some people do but compared to Isley, Riful and Teresa  he is just an extra, them pointlessly dying and him pointlessly living would just suck.

I'll be amazed if Raki actually dies, I wasn't expecting this lol Can't wait for the next chapter.

Yay, Raki and Priscilla cross paths again :D
