I thought the last chapter was brilliant. It brings a more romanticised, foreshadowing narrative to this manga. However, the whole ' I will only humour you with a fraction of my strength' battle is really silly and kills the momentum. It's just unnecessary, I would have prefer Priscilla just made her way to the main island because of her whims and fancies to check the true perpetrators of the organisation. That will give Clare some space to bridge the power gap and also explore the much neglected content since it was made known to the audience.

Now, it would be equally terrible if Priscilla doesn't slaughter them or this becomes the final battle.

Wow. I cannot believe that we actually have Clare and the companions finally fighting Priscilla in human form. Unless Yagi pulls something new out of the blue, this might be the last fight of this story (I'm well aware though that said fight could last 20 chapters!).

I doubt Raki will die. Aside from that though, Priscilla's pretty cool.

My only hope is that Miria doesn't die.

I have continued to enjoy Claymore, despite how drawn out some of the recent events have been, but really... what's the point in fighting with a fraction of her power. Priscilla has never been a particularly honourable character; she cut off Teresa's head when she let her guard down, so why do Clare and the team get special treatment? And this whole 'my strength is slowly returning' nonsense, come on... Priscilla killed Riful II with such little effort in her human form. She can't be tired, she's had a pleasant little break and even fed up on Dae's guts in the meantime, just where exactly is her power supposed to have gone? I left Claymore on-hold about three years ago because the monthly wait mustered little excitement given the lack of development (or rather, the pace of said development), but even now when I can breeze through all the chapters at my own rate, Yagi prolonging it like this is just too much.
