There is also a third version: http://www.batoto.net/read/_/164405/claymore_v24_ch137_by_mib

It's with Gernot's translation and he's the most accurate Claymore translator.

Thanks for the link, that translation makes a hell of a lot more sense than the one I originally read lol.

Impressive awakenings indeed. More so though, I'm looking forward to the end of this fight.

So much for Rubel being an Awakened...that first translation was godawful indeed. Kind of a shame though, would've been a cool twist.

Lol, bitch Priscilla/Cassandra main body was dismembered by Clare. Go Clare, finish off that clone fast, then move to the real Prissy.

I'm delight that Ritful 2.0 held her own against 'god' Priscilla. Please don't die :(

I must say the translation is really bad. At one point I thought that the Male Awakening Beings were gonna fight the claymores >_<

Because of the translation, I'm not sure whether Rubel was talkng about himself being an Awakening Being, or the four claymores who almost awoke 10 years ago

Half-Awakening? i bet that is Clare

In fact all of the girls from "The Slashers" arc (Miria, Deneve and Helen as well as Clare) were half-awakened (and that is exactly why Rubel arranged for them to go on that hunt since he hoped that they would get killed preventing the organization from finding out about their power), later Jean joined them but unfortunately she is already dead :(

It is however true that Clare is the most interesting one since she has in herself the blood and flesh of Theresa which makes her power is completely unpredictable in the light of Dae explanations from previous chapter.

BTW - The difference in translation between the first release and this one is ENOURMOUS, it's not just about a corrected mistake here and there - the whole conversations that made no sense before are clear now and are pointing in entirely different direction.

In light of the better translation, it's obvious that Rubel was talking about the group of half-awaken Claymores. However, Dae also mentioned he inserted the bodies of dead Claymores into a number of girls, not just Clare.

I think what was hinted at is that using Claymore's body produces half-awaken warriors. It makes logical sense since Clare is only one-forth Yoma so to speak, so she is less likely to awake than normal Claymore. This means Miria, Deneve, Jean and Helen were possibly made into warriors using the same method as Clare's creation. This also means the Organization had created a perfect warrior they desire (ones that can partially awaken while retain their humanity)

What seems odd to me is why Rubel said it to Dae after hiding this fact for so long. Isn't it baldy's job to sabotage the Organization from developing their weapon? Maybe since the Organization no longer exists, it's time for Rubel to reveal himself and rub it in Dea's face? xD

Yeah but according to the explanations about Priscilla power from the previous chapter it matters how Claymore feels about the flesh inserted itno her and of all the warriors Clare is probably the only one that has inside her the flesh of Claymore that was like mother to her (and she is not just aware of that - she was the one who asked for it).

I'm not sure any warrior who undergone such experiment was aware the lump of flesh inserted into their bodies are actually from dead Claymore. Dea could have easily told them the flesh belongs to Yoma to provide placebo effect for his experiment.

Clare is probably the only one knowing the truth. If the emotion theory is correct, then this knowledge may have both hurt and helped Clare. Here is my speculation on the double effects:

-Hurt: Clare loves, not despise the flesh inside her. Since Claymore's power grows with their hatred toward Yoma, this explains why Clare was a lowest ranked warrior in the beginning.

-Help: Teresa abilities seem to have been transferred to Clare. This is a tremendous advantage since Teresa is the most powerful Claymore ever walked, so will Clare. The trick for Clare is to find the way to unlock that potential. Frankly, this is more logical than any other "will power" littered in Shounen series.

Furthermore, if Miria, Deneve, Jean and Helen all have Claymore's flesh inside them, it will also disprove the theory that one-forth of Yoma's blood makes Clare weaker than other warriors.

1) He doesn't care about this because the Organization is already destroyed.

2) He doesn't care because Dae wouldn't be allowed back into the org even if it still existed (not after that stunt with 3 Abyssal Ones awakening in the middle of their HQ)

3) He doesn't care because Dae either walks out from this battlefield as the employee of Rubel side or don't walk out of it at all? XD

I'm leaning toward the third option. Let's remember that Rubel's objective is not to eliminate the Organization since similar outfits can be restarted elsewhere by his enemy. Rather, Rubel wants his foes to kill the project themselves based on their own failure assessment. Because of that, any successful stories, such as revertible Alicia's twins, or half-awakening, cannot leave the island. Thus, Dae's fate had probably been sealed even before Rubel revealed this little secret to him.
