God Serena was the strongest slayer and didn't last a second. I'm not sure how the others but Natsu will fare better..

                        And as expected Acnologia is indeed back. Perhaps to the surprise of no one. Looking very sparkly too. XD Quite the appetite allowing him to escape. And devastating attack on the landscape/dragon slayers. Human Acnologia staring down Natsu(whose back btw) though. Well let's see how this goes. XD

Well, when I read the Manga the first time I missed it as well, but there was more than just the Main character death fakeout.



In the last chapters several characters sacrifice themselves. Let loses his humanity and it´s implied that he dies from exhaustion, Belnika blows herself up and receives a hole through her chest and Nibel sacrifices his lifeforce and turns into an old geezer. Furthermore the whole world was destroyed severly in a Vortex of Armageddon.



But during the final chapter everything is fine again. None of the characters remember how all was fixed untill we get the answer in the form of the Deus ex Machina that´s responsible for the whole story to begin with, which brings the main character back to life.



And I don´t blame Hiro. If he went through with all of it he´d have written the most bleak Battle Shounen I´ve ever encountered. And now this chapter Acnologia unleashed Hell on earth. Those houses he burned probably had people in them, you get my point.

so was the town abandoned? or did a lot of random people just died?

btw this final boss guy is kinda bland

So obvious this is gonna have a bullshit conclusion.

So we are getting all of the slayers vs Acnologia? I'm actually pretty hyped for these last few chapters now. Even though I'm probably going to be disappointed in the end.
