Fairy Tail Chapter 539 Discussion

You know after all the shit of the latest Fairy Tail chapters, thank god there is going to be a final battle between the Dragon Slayers and Acnologia something people have been waiting to see the whole series. Not expecting much but with the amount of chapters left I might be surprised. I really just want to see the characters get somewhat of a happy ending so hopefully Hiro at least delivers on that front.

The setup... in the whole war, only Natsu got an upgrade so all the other dragonslayers are moot in the final battle.

It's damn easy to predict what'll happen.

Natsu gets another friendship power and probably, as seen in the Fairy Tail Movie 2: Dragon Cry he becomes a dragon.

Even if this was better written, whom did you taught is gonna win in the end? The bad guy? Hell no.

I know, still he could have done way better considering this is the final arc. He could have made the villains as strong as they were hyped about. Spriggans were useless, Zeref got one-shotted and now Acnologia is also going to get one shotted. I don't even care anymore, or actually I am not even hyped anymore. I don't feel that sense of danger because the plot armour is next level unlike other shounens.

Yeah and no big characters died too. Yeah but Mavis and Zeref's death included, it didn't have a big impact because of the shitty cliche course in FT of reviving Master. Like whu the hell?

Acnologia captured all the dragon slayers!

And oh Natsu and Co have a chance to finally do what they were meant to do, SLAY A FUKIN DRAGON

Bla bla ... Acnologia is back ... bla bla ... Natsu will win in one or two chapters with power of friendship ... bla bla bla ...



A lot of beautiful panels in this chapter nonetheless
