To watch absurd things I would go watch Adventure Time, even there the plot has much more logic than this. It's ridiculous...

I am absolutely amazed at you people and your ability to hate on this series for being EXACTLY WHAT THE AUTHOR WANTS IT TO BE!!!

Mashima wrote Fairy Tail this way because that's what he wanted it to be, if you don't like it, that's YOUR problem. It doesn't make anything in this story less gut-wrenching, heart-warming, or amazing.

I for one choose to rejoice in Makarov's restored life! Because this is the Fairy Tail I love!

And you know what? Screw it - I HOPE MAVIS AND ZEREF'S MAGIC CANCELLED OUT AND MADE THEM BOTH MORTAL AGAIN!!!

Ichiya was the star of the chapter, Acnologia is most likely still alive, though.

The scene between Mavis and Zeref was actually quite touching tbh, but I had to cringe at the together forever part. It  sounded way too corny.

Makarov is still alive ? Well, not really surprising, Mashima just dont have the balls to kill him off. In retrospect, the whole drama about him was ridiculous.

Wow, lol.

Majority of the people hated this chapter....understandable with the fake death :D

Was decent IMO if you take away the fake death. This was the perfect way to kill off Zeref, i was always wondering how TF END would kill an immortal....no matter what damage you'd do, he'll still heal. Way to kill off Zeref without any BS.

The emotions were on point too, tho i felt nearly nothing (became nonchalant towards FT) it made sense.

Not even gonna bother with how August was born, was randomly thought up on the spot and adds up nowhere.

But.....won't this mean that Zeref and Mavis would be stuck in spirit form like what happened to Mavis after Zeref killed her once? But ohh well, expecting someone like Hiro to explain this would to a lil too much to ask :D

Waiting for asspull queen Lucy to decipher an advanced demon language which Mard, a genuis demon, couldn't do for FOUR HUNDRED YEARS even tho it was written in his native language. Don't even DARE to think that Plotsu is gonna die.

7/10 for this chapter

For you to understand why I liked it. It´s not necessarily the execution, but the idea behind the concept of "The curse of contradiction".

It reminded me of Tantalus or Sisyphus. Aren´t you french? You should be able to appreciate such a concept.

First problem is the same cause should have the same effect. Mavis and Zeref already shared a kiss and felt love for each other aaaaand ... only Mavis died.

And here we repeat the scene but we have to accept that both of them die. Why? Same cause but different effect. Sorry no.

Second problem is ... I expect a bit more than that kind of cheap device as a way to vanquish Zeref. A good ending to such a plot is something out of the box (A good example of out of the box ending for Fairy Tail was the way the Galuna Island mistery was solved = you've not been transformed into monsters, you lost your memories as monsters). Here with Zeref we are just given the obvious solution "my love could kill him" which obviously raise the question "why wasn't it the case the 1st time?"... so it's at the same time boring and not really functionning.

Go read Mangastream's translation of the chapter since its far superior to Yankou Productions' version. It clears up that the first time Mavis and Zeref kissed she felt doubt and wasn't sure about love but this time it was mutual so hence both of them dying. It's not a plothole whatsoever.
