Dying together. Always the most romantic end in manga.

Guess the author of Fairy Tail doesn`t really know when to FINALLY END SOMEONE. Makarov`s death was a good moral point and yet without any explanation (yet) he comes back. Why tho?

Makarov has been coming back from death since Phantom Lord arc. Since Laxus's arc. Since Tenroujima arc. Since.. Basically about every arc he "dies."

I'm probably one of the few people that legitimately liked this chapter. Seeing the end to Zeref's and Mavis' lives was extremely beautiful and bittersweet and I feel like this is one of the best handled plot threads of the series (the love between these two characters that is).

The fights in this arc were trash but this chapter reminded me why I love this series despite its flaws, because I care about these characters after having so many fun experiences with them and seeing one of my favorite characters finally find happiness through death is heart breaking.

As for Makarov coming back, it's not like he was brought back without any consequence, Mavis and Zeref's lives were literally exchanged for his which is why this chapter was titled the Power of Life. It's fine to hate this arc, there has been a lot of dumb moments after all, but I'm not going to let it ruin my love for the series as a whole, not when I've been following this series for 11 years now. I don't expect really anything action-wise going forward through these last 8 chapters, I just want good wrap ups on the rest of the cast.

Now that's the way to go! I'm glad we still think the same way! I really love how Fairy Tail is going. I'm always excited for each chapter, regardless of the content.

5/5 chapter, this ending belonged into a better Manga.

1/10 Manga series.

What happened made perfect sense for a change.

Zeref´s curse was build up to work  like that . It´s cheesy  but this is also exactly what the audience had been promised once both those characters backstory had been introduced.

This doesn´t excuse all the horseshit that was required to come to this conclusion.

I´ve said it many times and I´ll say it again.

Hiro Mashima is good at creating plotpoint A. and conclusion B. In a sense this was  poetic and somewhat brilliant in comparision with other teen literature.

However the journey to point B is a meandering mess of horseshit.

If other Shounen Manga follow the philosophy of "The journey is the reward."

Hiro Mashima´s philosophy is "eat your peas son or you can´t have dessert".

Ps: Makarov was horseshit, but I ignored that part.

At this point I just don't even know what to say anymore.

This is too much bullshit writing for me to handle.
