Haha, vet att det här inte har något med Fairy Tail att göra, men kan nästan slå vad om att ingen fattar vad jag skriver! CX

Can someone recommend me a manga that doesnt suck, please? No joke, I'm that desperate for something good after this abomination.

wanna try black clover? they said it similar to fairy tail, but more well deliver...

Black Clover is fairly new. Fairy Tail used to be good around chapter 100 too.

yes, but there is less heavy amount of pandering fanservice (like shipping or ecchi scene), less abusive nakama power (well, still there is, but not that strong until power up coming outa nowhere), no serious plot hole, and no dragging... since beginning even until now..

sure, it ain't ground breaking, heck, it's really generic like FT, but it simply better delivered (tho the dialogue equally cheesy)...

@lvl21

> Black Clover reminds me a lot of the early Naruto & Fairy Tail, done really poorly. The main character's goal is to become the Number 1 Mage in the kingdom (or something like that, don't remember since I dropped it for like an year or so).

whats wrong with ambitious MC? heck, even luffy want become king of pirate... not every author can be like ashihara-sensei (world trigger) which creating over complex character and well rounded fer every character...

>Both Black Clover and MHA have similar themes, tho what makes MHA better, is the execution of that underdog theme, something we've seen before, but done right here as opposed to Black Clover. You have the main characters, Deku and Asta, which are opposite of one another; Deku doesn't fall into the "dumb-carefree-dense-as-a-rock" type of character we've seen so many times, but Asta is exactly that type of character, he's a bland character, with no personality, and nothing that makes him stand out, compared to other MC's from different series, like One Piece, Naruto etc.

deku is not even underdog... he already coming with blast... it simply nobody know his actual power... asta isn't even a carefree person, just really less fuck to give... sure, he is underdog because the absence of mana in the world when you need mana even for simpliest thing like gaming, the only thing i can think of can considered similiar in that is break blade... and now he isn't even underdog anymore and most people acknowledging his potential... even deku is more flat than that... asta has nearly none malicious thing around him and he simply extreamly positive person...

> The world of Black Clover has been done so many times, and there are other manga that have magic, and the usage of it is far more interesting than here. BHA is more 'original' when it comes to the abilities you can use in that world. These are kinda my thoughts about why MHA is better than Black Clover (didn't dive too deep). I'm sure you're familiar with MHA and know it flaws, its not perfect, its a good series, and compared to Black Clover is much better. I said I don't expect originality when it comes to these type of series, but while MHA has similar themes, there are some things there that have a good twist to them, in the end its all about the execution.

superhero already done to death too... and whats wrong with magic in black clover? what's the different with other magic series? what make BNHA superheroes is different?

i think Mashima-sensei should just find a really good writer, collaborate with that person to save him from this humiliation, Done. Do it, Mashima-sensei! Do it!

I like your art style but your storytelling is like a junior highschool student's essay. God.

This argument is dumb. Hiro Mashima has explained in several interviews that he´s a mood dependant author. He values his freedom more than anything else and wants to draw what he feels like.

He simply wouldn´t work as a collaborator and as long as his shit sells he´s fine.

There is also the fact that he throws out chapters like no other weekly author and his assistants apparently love the guy.

Probably because he´s paying and treating them well, playing videogames and watching Movies with them.

For comparision, look no further than Mitsutoshi, the author of Toriko who quit his Manga. due to overwork and stress caused by the lack of assistants.

I'm not trying to defend FT by saying this, but Black Clover is the most generic shonen ever, the amount of cringe in every chapter is ridiculous. I'm not expecting originality when it comes to battle shonen manga, but Black Clover is just like a compilation of different shonen tropes, pasted on a paper. But maybe it'll change for the better later on? If not it will end up as FT with this garbage writing.
