I think he is acting in this more hateful way now because he got a totally wrong impression of the Fairy Tail members because of what Mest did, so I can actually see where August is coming from.

He thinks FT members are sneaky, backstabbing villains, and to be honest I would have a similar image of them if I was in his shoes.

Erza could get a rage and destroy Acnologia's ass in the next chapter and I wouldn't be even surprised.



Jokes aside, I enjoyed the scene when Acnologia beats Irene's corpse. She deserves it for being such a shitty villain. I don't feel any bit of pity for her. And Acnologia laughing while he beat the body was even more awesome.



I give August two chapters at best before Gildarts anhilates him. He just hit the button every villain hits before getting his/her ass kicked in this series; threatening  anyone from the guild. And he even threats Gildarts's daughter, of all people.

Also, him smiling sadistically and telling Gildarts he is going to kill her daughter seems OOC for him considering he supposedly was a reasonable guy and he spared a lot of his opponents through the arc...



And, dammit, just let Cana be awesome for some moment, even Sting defeated an Spriggan, for God's sake.

lmao.. This isn't EIchiro ODA. Certain characters only shine at specific moments, and then there written out of the story.

I can already see August's fate, Brandish will get injured or die and he will go berserk dealing damage to acnologia.

Gildarts didn't like that...

That was a better chapter than what we got those last few weeks. I'm still expecting a bit more from August vs Gildarts.



Cana doing no damage to August with Fairy Glitter was hilarious though, not gonna lie.



Natsu vs Zeref is starting up kinda... meh.

It was oddly satisfying seeing Acnologia stomping on Irene's body. She was a shitty villain who didn't even come close to living up to her hype.



August, however, is living up to his hype, but knowing Mashima, that could easily change out of nowhere so I need to keep my guard up. I have a feeling he'll "kill" Cana, Gildarts will go crazy and defeat him, and then Cana will somehow come back to life or it'll turn out she was never dead in the first place. Or he'll just be defeated before he can do anything to Cana.

I'm honestly sick of Cana using fairy glitter and it doing nothing, like Hiro let it work for once and do some actual damage. August will probably be a disappointment as Hiro has hyped him up too much.

Time for acnologia to get one shotted by the power of friendship :)



Decent chapter. 4/5. Also August was a nice guy hope he suddenly does not become evil out of nowhere just so we can see how op gildarts is.

Slow chapter for the past few week, hardly anything happened.

Hiro is really dragging this arc for as long as he could..
