Fairy Tail Chapter 520 Discussion

I'm really disappointed with this week's chapter. All of the b.s. from Erza's fight with Irene had me annoyed. I didn't think I could feel any worse. Now, the only thing that kept me reading is gone. I was so hyped up to see Natsu become END and find out what was going to happen. But now its all gone to shit. Natsu just became a lot more dull than he already was. Hope next chapter is better.

That is the question, isn't it? I'm gonna guess August since you'd think Mashima would save Zeref for last.

wait, wait... so no speech, no self-reflection, no hardships, just a statement "you know, I'm human, right?" and BAM, cured. That was the biggest disappointment FT has offered for the whole series including all the pointless nakama-power comebacks from fights

I have no problem with Natsu overcoming the seeds-problem, but at least there could have been some sort of inner-fight, or I don't know, but not just a simple statement.





My question is: Who is to beat yet? Zeref, August, Acknologia and that's all? Is anyone else capable of fighting from the spriggan, or alive at all? I lost track of them.

God dammit.

I waited for months to figure out what was going on with Natsu. He gets asked an awesome question, "are you a dragon, or a demon?". And literally like 3 seconds after the question is asked, the hype dies immediately with that freaking answer.

That is a Fairy Tail standard, so I should've expected as much... but c'mon, you can't give us such an awesome situation and THEN decide you like things being simpler Mashima!

Oh well. Ill brush it off since I kinda like this story arc. I guess I can also wait for this chapter to be made into an anime (as soon as the studio gets their shit together), then that scene will probably be more drawn out in order to fill the time gaps from manga to anime. That will hopefully make watching it less annoying.

Truth be told i don't think people care about shipping in FT anymore. At least i know i don't give a damn anymore.
