The vortex is already gone so he will be fine. Also they are not being transported to their original location.

Erza displaying a cold behaviour to her mother is still stupid and makes her a terrible character, because Irene sacrificed herself at the last moment and saved Erza, not to mention diminished Universe one. At the very least Erza can show some emotions atleast, doesn't even have to be crying. People are forgetting the fact that Irene was INSANE from her psychotic lapses when she was dragonified, which gave her lose sense in reality and made her messed up mentally, so Erza should be able to understand that and go toward her mother. Erza doesnt even bat an eye, makes an irrelevant comment and hugs Wendy lmao. Then makes a pretty cold comment about only Makarov being her parent. That's gotta sting for Irene.



Practically Irene got destroyed as a character in terms of writing and characterization, and no one in the verse will remember her. "One of the strongest Spriggans ever". My ass she was.



I fear for August now.



Unfortunate that I couldn't see my boy Gray this time, which sucks since I've been waiting so long for his ass to show up. So hopefully Mashima has big things planned for him, and bring him back to the level headed mature character he's always been (minus the previous fiasco with Natsu). I don't think the END subplot is done for now, it's probably going to be temporarily forgotten until Hiro revists it again..



Again, agree completely with you on the Erza part man. The character has degenerated so much...

People said it was over in GMG too when Natsu groped Lucy's breasts. Guess what, in the Sun Village Mashima threw in a Natsu Erza bathing segment, then a naked prison segment between Natsu and Lisanna. Mashima doesn't act on such logic, he acts on trolling and fanservice.



Besides, I've even seen people ship Erza with Natsu because they got fed on how much BS those two pull out in fight and call them the BS couple. So there's no limit and over to shipping.

The whole conclusion of these recent chapters just felt lacking. Hope the next few will be more exciting. Really wonder if Irene is truly dead or not at this point.

It's like Mashima tries its hardest every chapter in order for everything to not have any consequences at all. Here we have what is arguably the most important sub-plot solved by not changing anything. And of course Universe One is nullified for good measure.



What a mess.
