No, Natsu aren't supposed to fight each other. Not like that. :(

The first one being that Natsu and Gray are going to fight you can see this from even the first season that they will fight, just as naruto and sasuke eventually have a duel to the death. In this case I see natsu wins because natsu was already stronger than gray prior to his demon slayer power being instilled to him by his father. So Natsu is the victor.



The second being that they team up and go fight the rest of the Spirrigan 12. And then acnologia shows up and pwns gray. Natsu gets really pissed and his E.N.D power fully awakens and fight acnologia.



What do you guys think?

He shouldn't even get that far. I'm sorry but Natsu isn't even a full Etherious so the slayer advantage should also get cut down from 100%. He is  a combination of Etherious, The corpse of Zeref's brother reanimated and even DRAGON cells from the Dragon Slayer magic that could turn people into dragons. He is far too mixed for Gray's slayer magic to full affect him and that's discounting the monstrous power Natsu exhibited before he even started tapping into his powers as END

Not really looking forward to a fight between Gray and Natsu. It's just so... unnecessary. I really hope that they don't actually fight. Grey does not really have a reason to fight him since Natsu appears to be sane enough to recognize Grey and he really should not trust the words of Invel, someone who is his enemy. This clash would feel so forced imo.

I'm sorry, but how many times has Natsu been "thrown under a bus" to push other characters story forward? Erza for the Tower of Heaven arc, Wendy for the Nirvanna arc, Lucy for the Elicpse arc etc etc. Natsu has had the spotlight a lot for sure, but it's always been for another characters sake. He's had a few moments in the Tartaros arc but it's about time Natsu had an arc for himself where as you put it, characters are "thrown under the bus" so his story is pushed forward for once. Dont forget About the Deliora Arc where he let gray shine a bit, all the other main char had their own arc, it's about time for Natsu's :D

I don't like seeing Gray, my favourite character getting rekt. But, I feel like Natsu is literally going to one-shot everything from now on. Di Maria got obliterated and I hate her cocky attitude anyway. This was a great chapter. 5/5.

The reason Mashima only gave us a "base awakening" is because it was off-screen. Jeez, people--THINK for once!



Agreed. I think that this is a gradual transformation process.
