Natsu gets angry regardless of which friend he has gets hurt. In this situation, Natsu merely thought Lucy's dead. I think he would fall into that state too if the same thing happened to someone close to him like Happy, Erza or Wendy.

When you thought Lucy was the realest bi**h ever for one page, but then remember that Hiro

How did Natsu pull a Jotaro?



Why hasn't Juvia found Grey yet? (Did he really just abandon her body?)



What reason does Natsu have to confront Grey? Did he just mistake him for Zeref?

Zeref is immortal. It makes sense that Natsu dies when he dies, that's just the limit of re-animating someone with your magic. Either way, it's not like he expects to randomly die at some point, given that he's immortal and unkillable.



Zeref could even just cut off most of the mana he supplies to Natsu if he absolutely must not kill him because of his stupid reasons, but still wants his plan to you know, succeed, with the Spriggans not just getting oneshotted.



The problem with E.N.D is that Natsu's already been confirmed to have a single time use of the immortal killing powerup. So even if he's 'So op, can move during stopped time', which is quite stupid, he can't exactly kill an immortal.

Did you not pay attention to this chapter at all? Natsu is not completely himself anymore. Duh. Gray is in his way. That's all the reason END needs to fight Gray if he doesn't get the fuck outta his path to Zeref.



I read the chapter, but it still seems like a silly reason to trigger this epic showdown between friends. If that really is the case than if Natsu happened to go in any other direction this encounter never would have happened.



Plus if he was captured and dragged off by one of Zeref's underlings, wouldn't it logically put Natsu in a closer proximity to Zeref??



I get the premise, but too many plot holes for my liking



Neither natsu nor END would want to waste time getting captured. Bulldozing straight up to the man's face is in character of them. END is just less likely to give a fuck about what gets in his way and right now Gray qualifies for that.

Good chapter, but Natsu in his END form looks too causal/normal for me. Oh well, maybe it's only his first stage of tranformation.

Damn I want next chapter now.Anyway nice chapter and for 1 sec i thought Lucy really got tortured...

It won't happen as long as Gray just gets out of END's way. If Gray does not attack him then everything should be fine. However if he makes a move against END he will register as an obstacle just like those unfortunate grilled soldiers he left in his wake.

Pretty sure it's stage one of transformation. His hands are turning into freaking CLAWS as you can see inside the flames
