I am not gonna even try to understand where these complaints are coming from any further. I have read the manga since the beginning and I still enjoy it so if you don't, just stop reading it since you have so many complaints about it.

Well shit, Invel was underwhelming as fuck. He (outside of August and Eileen which Hiro seems to be hyping the fuck out of) was the only Spriggan I was geninunely interested him. He actually took initiative and seemed to be Zeref's right hand man or somethin'.

If there's one thing Hiro has always done top notch is his artwork and detail..if only his writing matches his art.



I seriously wonder if he or any mangaka with a long series actually plans ahead instead of trying memorize and makes things up as they go along.



I do think he plans ahead some things, while other times he hints at something, only to drop it later, for example in the GMG arc Arcadios had a villain vibe to him, and it almost felt like he would be on Zeref's side, but he wasn't. The stuff with the dragons, Natsu and the others, Layla, the big mysteries if you will, I do thing those were thought out, and he did a good job with them, Do mangaka plan ahead? Some do, but Mashima is incosistent, same with Kishimoto (there are probably more mangaka who don't plan everything, Kishi is the one I mentioned, because he himself said so in a interview).

Not as exciting as the last Fairy Tail milestone. The only thing Mashima COULD do was reveal END to Gray.

Well im a natsu fan, but actually im not okay with this oneshot lol, we need some explanation cause neihart was powered up by Eileen, not even Brandish could use her magic against him, either he's gone and used all his strenght here, or this is some of end's awakening signs ? either NATSU IS SO OPI OPI, cant wait to see erza / lucy finding out he's END

Well this was an awesome chapter, yes it could have been better, we almost found out Erza's connection to Irene, if that happened, this would be the perfect milestone chapter oh well.



Looks like Brandish has no ill will for what Mest did, she doesn't Lucy, Natsu, and Happy responsible for that, that is for sure, she is still on Alvarez's side at least at that moment probably not by the end of the chapter and not by choice, but she is on Alvarez simply out of loyalty and not anger which is a positive I guess.



Though Demaria is not happy about that, come on she just wants to spare three people, you can kill everyone else, that is a fair deal no Demaria and Neinhart to be so unreasonable. Though Natsu being one of them, perhaps he has to die in their eyes.



So Fire and Ice, is Natsu and Gray not fighting, but showcased back to back, Natsu's words and Gray's action. And Inval you created this monster, what did you expect? You want to be Dr. Frakenstein, deal with the consequences.



And Brandish I think as of now is not on Alvarez's side, at Neinhart attacks her I guess she is kicked out. I don't know if Erza is going to show up to fight this guy, or will Natsu take care of him himself.



So after defeat Inval reveals Natsu is E.N.D., just me or this reminds you a lot of Meliodas vs Ban with Inval being a one man goddess clan trying to steer the pot and blaming Natsu for all of Gray's problems. And Juvia is alive what a shock, and I predicted and looks like I am going to be right, the reveal that she is alive to Gray will be what stops the Natsu and Gray fight. They are still going to fight, but it will conclude when Juvia shows up and Gray she is alive and that will knock Gray back to his senses.



I am sure a lot of people are mad Juvia is alive, because people need to die for a series to be great, if so go read Attack On Titan if that is your cup of tea. I prefer a series when characters don't die all the time, makes it easier to get invested in them. Though I am on board on Makarov dying for story purposes and Mest dying because he deserves it.



Next chapter, looks like no Natsu vs Gray, looks like it will be Brandish vs Demaria, we might find out their backstory on how they know each other and we their relationship is so complex. I would love it if it turns out Demaria had no requited crush on Brandish and that is why she is so jaded. I know we have Kyouka and Seilah, it would be nice to have some human gay and lesbian representation, though Kagura and maybe even Minerva have some feelings for Erza, but know who Erza has feelings for, though they could all be bi.
