To be fair, and most likely I'm biased or whatever, but the bits with Erza, to me at least are more okay, than it was with Gray's dad. We really don't know how Erza got to be a slave, and we learn later that she was in the same town as Kagura, so a little more backstory for her doesn't hurt to be honest, it seems like it's a trend with shonen nowadays.



Lol no. The bits with Erza are far more forced and non-realistic compared to how it was with Gray's dad and the foreshadowing he received in his introduction. What happened with Gray's dad and the overall scenes he had with his son were far more enticing and interesting than what we'll be getting from Erza. Silver's intro>Eileen's intro. Literally the development Eileen to Erza is sucking massively. Eileen fucking comes out of nowhere and gets hyped to be August level. Fucking BS.



We had plenty of backstory from Erza and where she's form. What's the point of more? It doesn't do anything for the main plot. It has no connections to the overall story. The sub-plot is here to appease Erza fanboys with forced development.



You might want to get your line of approach in thinking checked, if you hope Erza's subplot is going to be "much better" than the decent Silver one. When in the start Erza's relevation to Erene is already looking bad so bar

Or you can simply accept that Erza and Irene is forced connection and history. It's forced plot relevance. It's boring and stupid writing. Her subplot is irrelevant just like her actual character. The subplot will present no changes.

Irene's existence is an asspull itself. There's no indeed to introduce Erza's past, or her family. TOH connection is more than enough. Her parents are fodder

Erza already had enough forced relevance as it is when Kagura was shown to be connected to her. Let's leave it at that.

They are the truth. Lisanna has achieved nothing but getting captured and used against her siblings to weaken them. It has happened twice already and it will likely happen a third time.

So the monstrous six was Gajeel's team.... Gajeel and Mirajane yes. I wouldn't say the others are. But anyway, really looking forward to how it will go down in the north. Been waiting to see Gajeel in action, and lets see how much a beast Eileen is.

Kagura's apology was really wtf and somewhat unnecessary. Erza's reaction was funny to see.



A bit of a stretch to call all six of them monsters. Although I loved Levy's reaction to Gajeel's claim.

I see Mirejane and Gajeel... are the other 4 monsters hiding behind Elfman and Levy?
