Honestly people need to shut up about main characters getting opportunities to fight in a freaking shounen manga. Of course Wendy is going to fight some of the villains of the arc, it allows her to display both her training over the last year and improve herself with more combat experience. I'm sure she won't win against Dimaria, at least not alone, but its nice to see her actually get a prolonged fight for a change.



As for Laxus not being good enough apparently, he's only gotten stronger in the last year, so he's better now then when he beat Jura back at the Grand Magic Games. That's literally the reason he's being nerfed by the magic barrier particles right now, because he's too strong otherwise.



ikr I don't think people understand what kind of manga this is. Of course Wendy will fight a powerful opponent. How many people complained about Wendy vs Ezel? Even though we all know Wendy should have lost that fight without the assistance of Dragon Force. But anyway I'm really looking forward to Wendy and Chelia vs Dimaria. Gray will most likely aid them and they'll win. I must admit though I'm biased as far as Wendy goes cause shes one of my favorite characters :p



I also agree with what you said about Laxus he's SO strong that Mashima had to give him an opponent that is immune to his magic and give him a disease that impairs his battle performance. At the end of the day though i think he'll win.

Laxus vs Wahl was alot more even than the spoilers suggested.Poor wendy with her small chest.im expecting laxus to get a badass power up next chapter or some help from someone(cobra or natsu).

I hope this fight continues for a few more chapters because i dont want to see another spriggan beaten easily.

I have a bad feeling about neinhart,erza and kagura better be careful

                        Solid fight so far. Wahl's got some badass looking upgrades. Of course that illness effects Laxus at the worst time...oh, and kind of Carla to provide that jacket. :D

Backed up with Chelia and Carla she will be fine





Gray juvia and Lyon will wipe out the ground forces. If Lexus is in trouble gray can finish off wahls for him, they are all set



They treat Lyon like he is some big time wizard, tho he ain't no s class

And yet the strongest female in her guild was nearly killed by Ajeel.
