I jumped in because I disagreed with your opinion. you're the one who's making it worse with how hyper you are acting right now. No one insulted you at the time.
If you thought the pun was this bad (a subjective opinion), can you clarify why you thought it was bad? If you thought it was cheesy or unfunny sure (which is again subjective) I can accept that , but it still made sense given how it was stated. Don't ruin it for people when I have seen a lot of people loved Gray's dialogue in that chapter.
What did he state that compelled you to believe that he was rude? Infact your previous response can be considered rude. If you honestly that his response was rude, then you need to grow a thick skin and stop being so sensitive. Maybe forum posting isn't right for you.
Last statement just makes you immature and bratty.
Honestly not sure why I'm still bothering, but this'll be my last response so I can try to make things as clear as possible
1: I never said he insulted me, I said he came off as brash in his first comment towards me, nothing more. I've already explained that in my last post so I won't explain again. Even my comment was only slightly rude. If someone comes off as rude, then I'll reply like that in return. Same thing applies to people who are civil, then I'll be civil in return.
2: So even if I explained why I thought the pun was bad, it wouldn't change a thing. Just like you said, my own comment was subjective from the get-go. We have different opinions, and our sense of humor is obviously different as well, so there's literally nothing to argue about. I don't know why youre so intent on continuing this if you understand that our opinions on this our subjective. This isn't even an argument. I'm not going to accept your side and nor are you going to accept mine.
3: Do I seriously have to explain that again "smd" How much times do I have to type that out? And like I said already, I was initially asking asking if he seriously took offense to my comment, albeit slightly rudely. That's it.
4: Sure, it does, I'm not going to deny that, but it seems like you're ignoring a lot of my posts at this point. I've had to explain myself over and over again.
And I really didn't want to resort to any sort of name-calling or labeling, but I'll take Darklight0303 word on you being a "Gray Zealot" just from your post towards metsujin.

Gray's pun in this manga's low standards was fine, and was definitely clever and original at the context of this.
In any case, people are getting seriously offended over a comment I made of what a character said? Don't get me wrong, not playing the victim or anything, but that's just..I don't even know what it is.
That's cool if you thought the pun was clever and original, but I didn't think so myself. Why couldn't it just be left at that instead of making something blow up over nothing. Comments like this get made all the damn time.
And when I said "Can't tell if you're kidding or not", I was asking if he seriously got offended over my comment. It shouldn't have even caused all these comments I'm seeing before mine.
