Natsu as a character actually believes he can defeat Zeref. But that´s not how Shounen work,(besides Fairy Tail when they activate Nakama power).

The C option is actually what I was hoping in the beginning, I would love if Fairy Tail actually gets beaten up by Alvarez, because FT actually thought they could solo the Spriggans, just look at what Mavis said in this chapter.



Fairy Tail are as cocky/arrogant as the villains because they always won and never got a beaten to the point they had to think of something else and I really hate that, it's like they pay no respect to anyone whatsoever, I mean look at Natsu, he doesn't give a fuck about Zeref and just thinks he will beat Zeref and go home.



The Spriggans need to put a fear on Fairy Tail similar to what Gildarts did with Natsu back in Tenroujima.



About Natsu charging Zeref, I just can't take it serious and for me, I don't care about his fight with Zeref, it's similar with Lucy and Brandish, I only care about how/what they will talk to each other.



One thing that scares me of is how will Hiro work on the Spriggans fight, I mean most of people are thinking on situation of like Dimaria vs Erza and Kagura, but is a tag team really enough to beat one of the 12?

We have all wizards of Ishigar there, so I would love if they force a fight of like 5v1 for each Spriggan, now that would be awesome.

Also I have this feeling after this chapter that Ajeel will return and still give a tough fight.



My thoughts exactly. I always got irritated by the fact that they think they will win every fight. They just can't defeat Zeref and go home, someone who is on the same level as Acnologia. I really hope FT gets thrashed this time and retreat somewhere else.

Loved the chapter but charging alone into the enemy this powerful was a bit dumb even for natsu. I really wonder what is going to happen now.

It really shows that Hiro will try to keep their hype on, to think that 12 wizards are able to force all of Ishigar guilds + Gods of Ishigar, this is very different than the fake hype of Tartaros, this is war itself, there's no room for rest.



And don't worry people, everyone was asking where was the 4Kings of Ishigar and there they are, give more time and both Gildarts and Jellal will appear aswell.



The only problem I have with this chapter is Natsu is already on Zeref´s throat, it was predictable that they are not fodder level and Hiro was trolling.

He got me by surprise when he revealed that Robot guy was just a substitude. But Brandish´s plotline by getting captured through goofing was predictable too. What could potentially ruin all the buildup is still the Natsu+Zeref encounter many people in this thread seem to be hyped about.



The problem with this early introduction simply is, it´s possible conclusions.



A. Natsu and Zeref start to clash and it´ll get pointlessly dragged.



B. Natsu gets taken care off but nothing bad happens and FT strikes back via plot device.

I don't see Gildarts being able to stomp the strongest spriggan and Natsu vs Zeref is unlikely to happen so soon, unless Hiro decides to troll with us :3.

They are just three, and tw of them are confirmed to be weaker than Laxus  except they had a powershift once again.



The best matchup I can imagine would be Yuri (sorry Serena) against the 4.

I think he's extracting this information from Warrod, before Tartaros arc, when he said that he can't fight a lot of young wizards and the title of wizard saint is just political.

But if we gonna talk about speculation, I say for sure that Laxus is stronger than the 4 of them. I see Warrod point, Makarov is a wizard saint and he can't do anything anymore, he would sacrifice himself against the attack of Ajeel.

I speculate that Laxus is stronger than the 4 of them, because in the reunion in Alvarez Ajeel talked about God Serena as the strongest in Ishgar, what means he could take Ishgar all by himself, so he would be stronger than God Serena. So, Laxus with just one hand take the second strongest Ajeel attack.

Okay, speculation done.
