I agree. I ahevnt been able to get hyped up for an arc since avatar. And after finding one piece i just cant get excited for FT at all
To be honest, FT was pretty much dead for me in the past arcs, I can barely remember what happened in Tartaros and Avatar(I might watch the anime for that) so I can see what you mean, but this arc has everything to make anyone who watched FT hyped.
1. It's intended to focus the two most dangerous antagonists of the world,
2. It pretty much focus the entire world with the Ishigar vs Alakitasia war,
3. We are hyped to get the most powerful wizards of the world with the 3Kings of Ishigar + 12Spriggans who are supposed to be even stronger than those 3, so that also gives opportunities to have people like Jellal, Jura, Laxus and Gildarts to have a very good fight.
4. Lumen Histoire is revealed as Fairy Heart and will finally be the focus of the arc.
This is why I think Hiro should use at least 2years to finish this one, it has so many things, so many characters to focus, it shouldn't end that quickly.
On the other hand, we can all remember, this is FT and this hype can pretty much end in 2chapters, but something tells me that this one is different and it might be the most serious arc we will get in FT, yes it will have fan-service and some forced comedy, after all this is still FT.
TL;DR
If this arc doesn't deliver, we can all pretty much drop FT since it can't get more dramatic than how it is right now.
