So with this we can basically talk about FT Zero stuff right? Its nice of just how much more indepth this is made by having read that one. Also I guess anime will adapt Zero during this point too?(Or during the timeskip most likely)

I am more and more convinced that Zeref will NOT be the final villain and either END or the "god" who cursed Zeref and Mavis will.  There seems to be a whole separate layer of things that is hidden from sight so far.

So Mavis is an immortal too. Which proves enough that she is frozen in time. The crystal the guild has but that wouldn't explain the ghost of Mavis then. Would like to know how she supposingly 'died' (Which I don't think she has) and got into that form.

Considering Mavis is very well versed in Illusion Magic, it is not surprising she would be able to create a non-corporeal body for herself.
After all she DID create a whole freaking person and did not even realize it for multiple years

Has the same curse as Zeref but than he says that she has been choosing who dies at her own discretion. Perhaps that is what Fairy Heart does the power of her curse.

Anyway liked how it showed how she got her nickname, hope to see the mom and baby Makarov.

we don't know how the curse works so far but most likely Zeref was someone who did not want anyone to die(so everyone does now), while Mavis so far has been making decisions that led to deaths of others to save others(the war, even the fairy law itself) - she is  not realizing what her actions cause because she views it from positive angle of having saved her friends.

What's more we literally seen this war as a short flashback when they called her Tactician during the GMG.

That makes sense.

You have some good points.

First of all I do not think that "gods" in Fairy Tail are something good to begin with, the more the story continues. One possible hint towards that would be that Zancrow got taught "God slayer" magic from Hades/Precht, who he called a god.

The GS were never explained properly especially after Natsu, Kagura, and Erza so formitable against summoned gods. So I think highlighting gods in a story arc would be a good way to wrap up some plot holes and tie in some good foreshadowing for future stuff about Zeref/END/Achnologia/One Magic.

I´ve got the impression that Hiro tries to give the message of "humas" are capable of forging their own destiny, while the "gods" function as the bringers of inevitable destiny.

Basicly another pierce the heavens and punch the sky storyline similar to that of Ravemaster or Gurren Lagann. If destinry tries to dictate our future our bonds can overcome it!

This is a great idea.

The events of 400 years ago have to explained as well. So far most main storylines have been Zeref themed so we don't really know much about gods or dragons or anything of the mythology/beliefs of earthland.

I´m  inclined to think that the evil that possesed Rogue during his fight with Gajeel (and future Rogue) is the same that´s responsible for Zeref and Mavis curses.Or that it´s at least  part of a group of villains that are in the Shadows and

are described as gods.

Since besides the Megido ripoff we saw during the Avatar arc nothing aside from Master Hades  that we´ve seen ever refered to itself/was refered to as a god.

Minervas magic was refered to as god of whatever, Orgas´s godslaying origin wasn´t confirmed, and Chelias was told to be selftaught through some ancient book.

Since God slaying in general is shown as black, demons demonic aura and anything similar in Fairy Tail is associated with Black including whatever possesed Zeref and Rogue, my assumption is that the source is the same, which will be the real FT endgame while Zeref will be purified and find peace to be together with Mavis in death.

Rogue's shadow, I had not thought of that, but you are totally right! because it was something Mavis did not even know about and it was associated with darkness. Hmmm... It was similar to how the tenrou jade's being possessed Yuriy.

I agree that there is something about the Gods being associate with black.

So many questions?!!

Like how is Mavis/One Magic connected to Achnologia and the Dragons?

If Hiro could wrap up all these questions neatly and develop the current story without dropping the ball, he could totally push fairy tail to the top. It's gotten so DEEP lately.

@metsujin

Zeref stated that the curse's the same (at least in my translation).

What made me curious was what Zeref stated after discovering the curse: "Have you chosen what kind of lives you will be taking...?"

Thinking about this, there would be a way to decide how the curse is reacting, am I right? That could be that difference in the curses.

Read the mangastream translation. Panda botched it up pretty royally.

Hmm, immortal huh? Quite an interesting conversation between Mavis and Zeref this chapter despite their different ideals.

Okay so regarding Mavis's 'curse' the immortal part, she used Law incomplete black magic, that made her stop aging, making her immortal. Being a newb and using black magic arts... yeah I'd say you're screwed. But will she have the same curse as Zeref? All living things die when she cares about life? To me it seems a bit off, that she'll have the same curse as Zeref, unless, and this is just a thought. The 'God' that cursed him, decided to punish whoever tries to be close to him.

My goodness what a revelation by Zeref. She was actually frozen and had the tactical skills it was because she was immortally cursed.

Yury gives birth to Makarov who has been alive for 6000 years xD
