Oh wait I just also noticed something regarding Natsu's arm..... It didn't react back at their enemies in Avatar arc... since it's just seemed to easy for him (One shot fodder alert!) It might seemed like it responded to powerful enemies such as the 12th Sprigan because of its immense magic power with reasons unknown.

Notice how Natsu wasn't too much intimidated by the enemy and even demanded a fight.... I might be wrong but I think Natsu has really grown more powers than he displayed back at the last arc. If you could count it as END first awakening or his failed dragonification, then yes for me. But then again, it will not take just for Natsu alone to take down Arbaless.

Well he didn't use any of his forms yet Dragon Force or Thunder Flame Mode, so yeah he still has something up his sleeves. But nice to see it confirmed that he's hiding something, been bugging me since the beginning of the time skip, either he hided something, Mashima trolled us, or it's a hint that he trained with Gildarts, since Gildarts has a bandage on his right arm too.

I agree. Before everything else, Natsu was able to push back the crash mage but now he probably managed to inflict a wound on him. Kinda makes like Naruto and Jiraiya training where Naruto accidentally injures his sensei.. What if he lost control and the three of them kept quiet about it?

He has already three forms with the new one inherited by his father.

What third form?

The Flame Dragon King... Though I have yet to officially call it one of his since it came out as a basis for Natsu's firepower

That's not a new form it's just a new move or set of moves. Like he learned a new skill and decided to name it fire dragon king crumbling fist or whatever. It's,not a new form just a new skill or set of skill. He may be getting a new form soon with that arm though

I know, that's why I have yet to confirm with it... And yes, Natsu might get something from his arm though it won't do him any good.

I can't decide how I felt about this chapter. Laxus and crew joining Blue Pegasus just doesn't feel right... The GaLe bait was hilarious with Juvia's commentary. But in regards to Alvarez... It just felt like Mashima is trying too hard to demonstrate these guys as a threat. The escalation of Fairy Tail always felt real up until now. For heaven's sake, if Alvarez's best are this strong, they could've wrecked Tartaros without trying. Am I the only one that feels this way? This arc is coming across as forced...

I think all of the Laxus stuff was a joke lol Actually what Tartaros did, played in Alvarez's advantage, since Face was magic bomb that nullifies magic, if Alvarez invaded to get Lumen Histoire (that's their plan), they would've been... you know useless, because the bomb would've destroyed the magic. Tartaros had their own goal, but since they failed, at the same time 'succeeded' in getting reed of Face and Etherion, Alvarez can now attack and take Lumen Histoire. It kinda fits if you think about it.

You're acting as if Alvarez wanted anything to do with Fiore or Tartaros in general except LH

Tartaros was powerful but they were never stated to being the strongest. Zeref labelled them as failed projects.

You missed the point. I was comparing the power-levels of the two factions, not their motives.

Zeref labeled them as failed projects, but he's pretty much the strongest wizard ever. The established power levels of Alvarez pretty much says one of them could solo Mard Geer without breaking a sweat. Does that feel right to you?

No they couldn't beet Mard Geer without breaking a sweat, the dude can use curse, also Natsu & Gray won because of Gray and his Devil Slayer Magic, regardless of how strong you are, if you have magic that can nullify (example Marin Hollow with Space Magic) or is super effective (like Devil Slayer Magic, Dragon Slayer Magic), you won't have that much of a chance. Even dragons were affected only by Dragon Slaying Magic, other magics were pretty much useless.

Devil-slaying magic had the increased effect, yes. But two things:

1. Other magics could still work perfectly fine on the demons. Devil Slayer magic was just super-effective.

2. Gray comments that her magical presence is like nothing he's felt before. That's a crystal clear of her power. The increased power trope has gotten completely out of hand with this arc.

You guys are underestimating Erza so much.

Not really. Just sick of her bullshit

^This. Yep I'd rather have her sit one out, or lose (that won't happen).

Who is this spy the Alvarez keep talking about? Is this suppose to be unknow or am I missing something?

Gotta love the attitude of that Brandish girl.

That bath scene was so random, lovely though. Poor Levy :p

Brandish doesn't seem all too bad.

And now we'll get to see the king huh, wondering what he is like.

Villains in this manga are so stupid. She should kill them, but no....... she help release their friends and later she killed his companion.

One dimensional character - typical villian in this manga

1/5

Hiro should cancel this manga and draw hentai.  Boobs are his only talent.

If I may say something, I don't think how they reacted to Brandish's power should mean she's stronger than Mard Geer.

I mean, look at it this way, Natsu trembled before Gildarts but was able to stand up to Mard Geer just fine, I would assume Mard Geer is stronger than Gildarts if he really took on the Celestial Spirit King and fought him as an equal.

I just think it's just a shounen problem really, power level inconsistencies to hype up the most recent villain.
