I think all of the Laxus stuff was a joke lol Actually what Tartaros did, played in Alvarez's advantage, since Face was magic bomb that nullifies magic, if Alvarez invaded to get Lumen Histoire (that's their plan), they would've been... you know useless, because the bomb would've destroyed the magic. Tartaros had their own goal, but since they failed, at the same time 'succeeded' in getting reed of Face and Etherion, Alvarez can now attack and take Lumen Histoire. It kinda fits if you think about it.
I still wanna know the fucking point of the entire tarturous guilds plan. They were fighting END the entire time, lil END Natsu looked exactly like older Natsu or guess from his last name Dragneel, you can't tell me they don't even know the last name of their master/creator/person they r supposed to kill. Also if END was the one trying to stop them WTF was in that book and if they had succeeded what would happened. I'd say either nothin and us Readers would laugh our asses off or Natsu full power as END is unlocked and he can use curse power, however Natsu still FT wizard so he uses his new power to take revenge in a magi less world

Yeah and I know they didn't know but still when you think about it all these villains had all these plans to complete one task and the world was just colleteral but their 1 task was stupid and their plans to do it were rudendant and had no point but they were willing to change and almost destroy the world
-Jellal: wanted to revive Zeref but Zeref never died and along the way he did a lot of bad stuff. Killed Simon, infiltrated the council, hurt team Natsu, etc
-Hades: wanted to restore Zeref power but that was just an old wives tale and he already had his full power unlocked but becuase if his curse couldn't use it. Along the way he burned villages, killed people, and just for keys that were folklore made up by people
-Future Rogue: now he was just plain stupid what in the fucking world made him think that he could kill Acnologia with himself and 7 dragons, he could barely beat Natsu and plus Acnologia killed thousands of dragons to become the dragon king and is a dragonslayer himself. He did a lot of bad shit. He killed future Lucy, brought 7 dragons that almost killed everyone, killed sting in the future or past idk, etc.
-Now tarturous: Destroyed the magic council, left Fairy Tail vulnerable, destroyed the FT guild hall and som of magnolia, poised Laxus, killed and or injured a lot of people, tried to get rid of all the magic in the world, summoned Acnologia, which later got Igneel killed. All to unseal a book that had END in it but they were fighting END the entire time
