Law of space,that looks like the name of a type of magic. Wouldn't be too surprised if one of those eleven was sent on this trip just to make sure the spy got caught.

Those guys are foot soldiers, what did you expect?? The Empire has more man power than Ishgar, that's why they are feared, that and the 12 shields. Judging by your comment, you might think everyone is "weak", because they took down some foot soldiers, doesn't work that way.
As in their magic is really recognizable
"Hey this group has a fire wizard, a celestrial wizard, an ice Mage, a sky maiden, someone who can requip really fast...."
The soldiers said they knew a few guilds from ishgal and I bet fairy tail is one they are on the lookout for

I actually despise the whole trolling the Anime provides for the pairings just to get the fans to rage or fangasm when they get thrown a bone, which Hiro never did much of. Lissana is a severly underdeveloped character for what she was promised and I think it´s a failed attempt of Hiro trying to copy Kishimoto´s pairing trolling with Hinata and Sakura which is unrivaled imo.
Also the Anime did it way worse than the manga which caused the whole outrage at the end.In General Anime staff tends to overtease the pairings alhough the source material just mildy hints at it. Even in One Piece which has literally 0 pairing material besides Ussop maybe, they invent lines to hint towards the pairings Oda has neglected officially in an interview.
As of currently Lissana serves no purpose besides being a fanservice character whomay become a possible love interest in the future, but for some people Lucy is just an annoying character. Pre timeskip (Tenru Island) Lucy was horrible imo, post timeskip is ok.She had alot of character development way more than Natsu, which although her fights are eiher boring or annoying gives her some soul. Lissana has shown nothing even for a side character she´s underused.
But some people just like her for being the underdog in the love triangle. That´s her whole purpose currenly that and being a fanservice character. The relationshio between the siblings is nothing to write home about, it´s fanservice territory since it´s just another layer of closer family in the already big family of Fairy Tail.

I don´t care or know where or how people and to what amount express their ships.
I just pointed out objectively that both sides have arguments for why they like one girl above the other.
Also you are the guy who was dead on that Gray is evil says alot about your credibility in predicting Fairy tail´s writing or to comment on the state about it´s fanbase.
