I thought we were done playing Juvia as a victim in the Avatar Arc. She was pathetic and made her character worse

Plus besides being the leader of three wizards nothing about Laxus screams leadership. Mira doesn't count Lucy and Natsu sure as hell doesn't count either

Laxus does scream leadership he is the grandson of Gramps. He has more than enough power to maintain as well as protect the guild. The only candidate better to be temp GM would be Gildarts who knows lumen historie and was GM.

Being the grandson of Makarov doesn't put leadership in his blood. Gildarts doesn't scream leadership either

What's with people thinking power=leadership

And yet that's exactly how Erza got put as termporary master. Because she scared people aka POWER. Not because she earned it or deserved it. Double Standard much?

Except we have seen Erza rally and lead numerous times. And leave a strong impression on the Council Makarov and the guild as a whole. As he stated its more than just having power. Thats not a double standard. You might make that same statement for others but not in a good way to represent the guild in a high fashion

Your dislike of said character has always been evident and its clouding your judgement. You're honestly going to try and convince that anyone other than Makarov and Laxus(and I'm still being lenient on him) is a better fit?

No
I agree with you for once and Erza would make a terrible GM I would rather have Cana or Mira.
Cana or Mira?! Seriously!? Macao would be okay but he can't control the Tenrou team. Mira is too nice and goes along with them as well as is mostly a right hand woman or secretary and all Cana does is drink, while they are powerful with Mira on Ezra's level they can't lead and Mira lost her ability to do so when she turned nice after thinking lissinana died. The only choices to be temp guild master were obviously Laxus, Erza, and Gildarts. Best choices as follows 1. Gildarts - was already picked to be 5th master so if gramps picked him and told him lumen historie he can actually be permanent 2. Laxus - a born leader with traits from his gramps and a true fairy tail wizard as seen when he fought Revan Tail. 3. Ezra - Scary okay leader and can maintain order. With the two best gone the only suitable choice was erza and it's just temporary till gramps comes back and avian you think Mira or Cana?! I still can't believe you said that.

I was hoping for Mira or Laxus to be the 7th master, damn.

You and me both my friend. Oh well at least with this Erza's screentime will be drastically reduced.

Do

you

honestly

believe

that?

Its Because She's Erza. She will guildmaster at frontlines.

I can fuckin dream man! Don't shatter my hopes like that

Erza as GM was logically sound. With the exception of Laxus but we didn't see anything from anyone else that screamed Guild Master. Mira doesn't count. For her being the right hand of Makarov we NEVER see anything of it. We never see her participate with Makarov in anything guild or council related.

Show us don't tell us.

Only two that made sense was Laxus or Erza. The leadership(more on Erza's side) the power the influence. The ability to get shit done. Erza can get hotheaded but that applies to Laxus and Makarov as well

Makes perfect sense. Some need to separate their bias

Leadership my ass she almost left Juvia to die for a stupid mission that didn't get them anything in the end. The only good thing about Erza being guild master is the reduction in her screentime. Everything else she's really not suited for it whatsoever.

You keep saying this but is complete bullshit excuse based on your dislike of Erza.

Juvia wasn't let to die anymore than anyone else was let to die, and Erza had nothing to do with Juvia's problems.

Erza as the master is disappointing. At least this should cut down on her screentime which can only be a good thing.

The Nalu antics were precious and hilarious and yet again more references to the first chapters of Fairy Tail.

Wonder why Makarov needs saving.

Well, nothing surprising here, still I liked that.

Makarov in trouble, ha? Hope this arc will be much longer than this amazingly short episode with Avatar. And still waiting for Laxus to come back!

"Almost left Juvia to die" when? The Avatar Arc? Where she had everything in her power to actually do something but sit and sulk?

"Didn't get them anything in the end" yet the sacrificial process was literally stopped in one day with thousands of lives saved and the council(aided by Erza) was practically knocking on Avatar's door

Thousands of lives>Juvia

There was no reason Erza could not have had the DECENCY to at the very least CHECK IN ON JUVIA ONCE A COUPLE OF WEEKS. SHe made Gray leave Juvia without a single word and doesn't even think of checking in on her even though she knows FULL well how attached Juvia is to Gray. Erza was not the one being watched it was GRay. SO she has 0 EXCUSE to neglect Juvia the way she did. Her doing this went against EVERYTHING Fairy Tail stands for when it comes to the pain of their fellow guildies. And you tell me someone who does that is worthy of being Master. GTFO with that shit.

The sacrificial process would have been stopped EVEN WITHOUT THE INFILTRATION SINCE THEY ALWAYS HAD THE POWER. Infiltration didn't do squat.

So no the whole thousands of live > Juvia thing doesn't apply given Erza could have visited Juvia without problem since it's NORMAL FOR A FRIEND TO VISIT ANOTHER TO SEE HOW THEY ARE DOING.

And yet here you go labeling Juvia as a victim. Boo fucking hoo. Was she dying? No what she injured? No

Is she a pathetic comic relief character that screws up more than she succeeds? Yes. Juvia had everything in her power to actually get off her ass and look for Gray. Go to town check on nearby guilds and get information. For a character who claims she loves Gray she did nothing but sit in town hoping he would return.

"How attached she is to gray" and what did she do to combat that? Nothing. That's why Juvia gets a bad rep. Her character is nothing but an extension of another character. Similar to Mikasa and Eren but at least Mikasa has the guts to actually pick up her nuts and do something regardless how bland she seems at times. Juvia just sat there. Pathetic

Natsu barging into Lucy's room (again), the everyone in the guild rebuilding the guild, everyone fighting one another (even including Loke), and even Mirajane getting hit in the head by a bottle. Putting all of this in one chapter gives nostalgia; Doesn't it remind you of Fairy tail manga in it's earlier chapters?
