Fairy Tail Chapter 436 Discussion

Okay this was way better than 435 or the last like 5 chapters of bullshit.



So my theory of all the way back that Zeref WAS cursed plays nicely to this all.

As well as what I theorized all the way back in Eclipse arc on how "Gods" are essentially Titans and "Dragons" are Gods that expelled titans, if we compare to Greek Mythology.



Zeref most likely played a role in dragons ascendancy and limitation of gods powers only to see the same dynamics be established between Dragons and Humans. Then the Dragon Slayers were created and civil war broke out.



I guess afterward Zeref simply stopped caring and withdrew from the world, having seen the same cycle again and again.



Either way, this nicely ties together parts of backstory and sets up gods as threatening force within the setting...if only Nasu would not have oneshotted one literally two chapters ago...

The long awaited Zeref origin is covered in less than one chapter and given to us pretty much out of the blue. Meh.

I hope you are right. (you often have good information behind your comments) but still. So much is reveled in this one chapter. And i don't know why Mashima would give us this AWESOME chapter if he doenst intend to do something with it. Maybe we will get Zeref vs Acnologia, och maybe the releasing of END in the near future. I just don't hope Mashima just revealed Zerefs past and Acnologia just beacuse he want good sales. So i guess we need to wait for next chap and see

I stated that in my second comment. Why would Mashima bring up so much information if he doesnt intend to use it. It could point to the end of the manga or as i stated a massive fight.(i rahter have a massive fight,  becasue i dont want this manga to end yet)  And we all are quite worked up, we(me) thought  Tartaros was the last arc too when Ingeel died so i guess we have to wait



Maybe he just wanted to give his fans an insight on what might be upcoming after the current arc? Who knows what Hiro will pull. :P

My favourite Chapter so far... This was just f**king awesome! I didn't saw that comming, Natsu being Zeref's little brother... But this just solved me the mysteries behind his birth, now I want to know about the other dragon slayer's mysterious past...maybe they are also experiments made by Zeref?

If I have one problem with that theory is, how do the other dragon slayers play into it? You can pm and discuss, because, OKAY THIS CHAPTER WAS AWESOME. Everyone who says otherwise, is just...



Don't get me wrong, I love Acnologia's human form, but it raises a question. If Acnologia can do that, wouldn't that mean that if Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, Sting, and Rouge transform into dragons can't they just change back into humans? They technically wouldn't have to worry on transforming into dragons if they can change back. If anything, that would sound cooler than Dragon Force (in certain ways) like new level of power up.



There could be another reason why it's dangerous to transform into a dragon if one overuse dragon slayer magic.

Otherwise there wouldn't been a point for the Dragons to release the "antibodies" within their respective adoptive child and prevent their transformation besides hindering a cool power up.



A minor example would be like Gray and his Devil Slayer magic (fundamentals could be different, but the fact he made use of the transformation that could've been evil, but he still remain good guy and can change back is what I'm alluding.)



THe other Dragons had no way of knowing that the transformation was reversible. Acnologia was the only one who turned and he has killed every dragon he's gone against and likely never showed his human form in front of them since he transformed.

Im confused..



Did Zeref want Natsu to kill him because he's his brother or because he knows Natsu is END and is the only one who can stop Zeref?

Holy shit, Natsu is Zeref's brother and we get to see Acnologia's human form.
