1: did you completely forget the reason why the first and third gen slayers had dragons in them? To prevent dragonification by creating antibodies. Overuse of one Slayer magic turns the user into the entity that it's designed to combat. There's no reason why DEMON slayer magic is exempt to that rule. If anything Demon related magic corrupting users is even more natural.

You see right there you're just assuming things just to prove your point. There's no evidence of that ever stated in the manga. In fact if what you say is true, then what about Chelia and all the other god slayers? Are you going to assume they have gods inside them too?

We don't know if the God Slayers were trained by Gods. My guess: They weren't. Why?

Considering that only the Dragons Slayers of the 1st and 3rd generation needed Antibodies to stop them turning into a Dragon, Slayer Magic (or Lost Magic if we take Azuma into account) granted to a mage by implanting a Lacrima into his or her body (such as 2nd generation Dragon Slayers) won't show that kind of a backlash.

That means: If they were given a God Lacrima (just a theory) they won't turn into the entity their magic is made to slay. The again: We don't know for sure.

Either way, I honestly go with Darklight in this.

There may be no clue thus far for the Devil Slayer Magic turning Gray evil. But there is no clue for Gray being a spy as well (funny fact: we are all assuming. Up to now, that is all we can do. So would you please stop you're little fight against Darklight? He ist just assuming what COULD happen, just as everybody else is.)

But if Gray really turned evil... that woud be a way better plotline with way more possibilities of what could happen.

EDIT: Ok.... I just read that Chelia learned God Slayer magic from a book. o.o

Well... there goes my theory with the Lacrima...

But why would  Silver sacrifice  his own son?

Silver sure didn't have that big of a mark on him. I think Gray really has lost control of it

^This

Silver trained for years most likely to master it

And as I brought up before - If Dragon Slayers have threat to become a dragon, could Demon Slayers become demons?

Did you just ignore the Mitholan's post where he stated with some evidence that Silver's body was never shown?

1. Silver had a lot of clothes! So its impossible to say if he had this marks. Lol

2. Why saying he lost control of his powers? Maybe its Demon Force. who knows.

I bet Gray its a SPY. He dint wanted to grab Juvia in this dangerous path. Iam sure  Gray could wipe this Dark Guild by himself.

Silver lost a ton of his clothes during the fight with Gray or did you forget that? Again the mark was nowhere near that big. I wonder why it's so hard to accept that yes he was swallowed up by the power he was not meant to have

Tons? what? Look again please. He only lost is arm cloth and it was a little.

But even if this Demon Slaying Magic wasnt menifesting in Silver´s body was probably because he was already dead.

And dont forget Silver had years of trainning. Gray just one.

1.) Logically speaking, Gray can pretty much low diff all of his "colleagues".

2.) Gray obviously joined so he can get closer to finding Zeref and E.N.D.; how is it conceivable that he has legitimately turned heel?

Very easily. Slayer magic has been confirmed to corrupt its user is left unchecked and Mashima has already used the undercover agent card in the arc before this. He would not reuse that idea so soon.

1.) I don't recall Slayer Magic being stated to corrupt the user. Are you talking about Acno? Didn't he just go crazy after slaying hordes of dragons and being exposed to their blood?

2.) So? Who cares if Hiro already played that card? He isn't the type of author to make every arc unique and make his characters all step up their game in terms of progressing the arc. He's the type to who makes parallels and red-herrings in every arc.  Gray is doing exactly what his father did but this time intends to succeed; the developed tattoos on his arm indicate to his new partners in crime that he's one of them. Sure, it's easy to assume Gray has genuinely joined the dark side, but is it probable given Hiro's story? Nope.
