Guess it's really impossible. Oh well,I tried.

Would it be far fetched to think that you have friends in real life who like fairy tail? Do you behave like this with them, when they mention Gray?

I am just saying this so that you could at least consider your image here in this forum, since you clearly don't care about it.

Why do you "hate" Gray so much? I don't think that reminding you that he is a fiction caracter would help, would it?

When I hate something,I simply don't talk about it. When I do,I try to keep it as short as possible.

It's your pig headiness about Gray that ended derailing this topic and making people focus on Gray too much. In other words, had kept it to yourself, people would be talking about other things in the chapter. See now?

it's not my problem if you want to look like the biggest idiot around here, living in a fanfiction of pitiful delusions, but I want to talk about the chapter

You explicitly bait me with the insinuation that I have a homoerotic obsession with Gray and you're suprised I snap at you. I can't tell if you're actively trying to be a troll or really that stupid.

I do have friends that like Fairy Tail and none of them worship him the likes of which can be seen in this thread. AT the most they are neutral and a couple of them even share my hatred of him.

I hate Gray because his popularity is solely for superficial reasons. He's fangirl bait. Always stripper, bit of an asshole streak that supposedly hides the oh so tender insides that just want to be loooooved. People say he's developed yet he's barely changed at all since introduced unless you count him not smoking anymore like in the first chapter we saw him, a development. OMG GRAY IS SO HOT! OMG GRAY-SAMA CAN DO NO WRONG! It is MADDENING and then when you call those people out on their bullshit they make up excuses or fanfics while ignoring evidence from the manga itself.

Let me ask all of you Gray zealots one thing. Why don't you want Gray to be possessed by his power? I'm not so naive as to think Mashima would kill him off for being evil so we both know that if he has turned to the dark side it's only temporary. So why do you have a problem with him being genuinely controled by a power he should not have gotten? Is it because it besmirches that perfect hottie image of your precious Gray that you carry in your mind? Is that it? Can't suffer a single blemish lest the spell falls apart.

There is actually another possibility about what happened. It may not even be the demon slayer magic that is causing this but the fact that Gray touched the Book of END. A book that Igneel stated specifically that only Natsu was supposed to get. It's possible that the part of END contained in that book is so powerful that it can corrupt any human that touches it even if the effect is delayed. So you see there are TWO possibilities in favor of Gray being possessed by some kind of power.

1.) Logically speaking, Gray can pretty much low diff all of his "colleagues".

2.) Gray obviously joined so he can get closer to finding Zeref and E.N.D.; how is it conceivable that he has legitimately turned heel?

Very easily. Slayer magic has been confirmed to corrupt its user is left unchecked and Mashima has already used the undercover agent card in the arc before this. He would not reuse that idea so soon.

1.) I don't recall Slayer Magic being stated to corrupt the user. Are you talking about Acno? Didn't he just go crazy after slaying hordes of dragons and being exposed to their blood?

2.) So? Who cares if Hiro already played that card? He isn't the type of author to make every arc unique and make his characters all step up their game in terms of progressing the arc. He's the type to who makes parallels and red-herrings in every arc.  Gray is doing exactly what his father did but this time intends to succeed; the developed tattoos on his arm indicate to his new partners in crime that he's one of them. Sure, it's easy to assume Gray has genuinely joined the dark side, but is it probable given Hiro's story? Nope.

1: did you completely forget the reason why the first and third gen slayers had dragons in them? To prevent dragonification by creating antibodies. Overuse of one Slayer magic turns the user into the entity that it's designed to combat. There's no reason why DEMON slayer magic is exempt to that rule. If anything Demon related magic corrupting users is even more natural.

2: He isn't the type of author to recycle ideas so quickly one after the other. It's very possible he was corrupted by the power given A he's alive unlike an animated corpse and B he got it unconventionally. Name one instance where he immediately recycle plot ideas from a past arc in the next one. You can't. People sell Mashima awfully short when they don't understand what he can do.

My reaction: ノ-_-)ノ ~┻━┻

I swear, every dark-haired, cool guy I know goes to the dark side at some point.

Hakuryuu from Magi

Sasuke from Naruto

Ishida from Bleach

AND NOW WE HAVE THE ONE AND ONLY GRAY FULBUSTER!

Just wow.

Oh well, at least his demon tattoo is cool <3

It's up to Natsu to literally bang some nakama speeches into his head and I mean literally.
