Exciting!! Can't wait for the next chapter. I love timeskips! Natsu is going to show some never before seen badass new moves! It might be cliche but whenever a character undergoes a timeskip to hone his skills and comes out all badass, it always hypes me up!



They have the perfect relationship. It's cool seeing Gildarts again. Very funny chapter. Perfect way of displaying how Gildarts and Natsu connect.

It was a fine chapter, I am glad we got a chapter this week. Unlike the last Gildarts chapter, this one does progress the story, it shows us what Natsu is doing during this time skip, and we see progress in how closer Natsu is to Gildarts strength wise.



Dam Gildarts is still lives up to the hype, though I get a bad feeling he is going to die in this series, hope I am wrong, but we will see. Was the cloud Cana or Cana's mother? Cana's mother was the love of Gildarts life.



Moral of the story, don't mess with Gildarts porn. Next chapter, confirmed time skip, which I find the most exciting part of this chapter getting that confirmation, the next chapter is called "The Challenger", my guess one of our protagonist probably Natsu challenges some grand champion. Looks like the next few chapters will be a breather and more about internal conflicts and character growth before we get to the next enemy.

I wanted more about the arc but this chapter was ok. It was fun to see them interact. I feel bad for Lucy though... she was so lonely...

He pushed Gildarts back much further than he did in Tenrou. The page actually showed that with a flasback panel of that test

That being said Mashima has been on a roll this past two weeks. Ch 416, the latest FT Zero, and this new chapter had the old pre-timeskip FT charm.



Hopefully the new arc is as good as the old FT because imo the Grand Magic games and Tartaros arc had been quite underwhelming with countless unremarkable fights save a few chapters here and there.
