Fairy Tail Chapter 401 Discussion

An excellent chapter, I do wonder where the other dragons are. Igneel have to fight Acnologia all by himself, could use some help.



I love how pretty much everyone stopped whatever the hell they were doing to watch, it just sells how rare and eventfully to see not only dragons, but a dragon on dragon fight, truely a sight to see.



So what is Mard Guille planning, is he going to seal both Igneel and Acnologia, if he does that would be impressive. Natsu jumping into the middle of the dragon battle was both stupid and hillarous at the same time, he wanted answer, I don't blame in. Odds were not in Igneel's favor to begin with, so he might never get his answer. Igneel giving Natsu was cute and the reward that was cute, well even if Igneel dies I think he will live long enough to give Natsu his answers. At least I hope so, he has to  now you can welch on a job payment.



Now the question what Natsu have with the book of E.N.D., is he the only one that can open the book? If so you would think Mard Guille would know that and have Tartarus capture Natsu alive. All this arc they have been trying to kill him. Perhaps if Natsu opens the book, E.N.D. will pop out and pocessive him. Now the Natsu is E.N.D. theory that was disproved last chapter is back on.



Okay can't wait till next week, I didn't get the next chapter title, but I assume it is Natsu vs Mard Guille. 10 / 10 this chapter rocked.

Igneel badass.. love that Natsu and Igneel part..

@kokoa; the white guy standing beside Rogue is Sting. he's a forgettable dragonslaying character, hence it's understandable that you don't know his name.

As will I. End will not be beaten with power. Igneel tried that and failed according to Atlas Flame. Or are you telling me Gray is now more powerful than Igneel? Surely you are not that delusional



power levels in Fairy Tail aren't set in stone like that. Also, it's not about power, it's about compatibility and Gray being the counterpart of Natsu, as it has been across the series. Either him or Lucy will at some point (IF, we're talking about this because we're assuming Natsu will get possessed) shout out NAKAMA, GUILD, FAMILY and Natsu will be reborn-anew. Atleast so I see it, unless the author breaks his well known circle.



Also, there is no point of Gray having a massive power-up if he won't butt in on a fire user or atleast attempt it at some point.



Attempting is not the same as succeeding. He won't succeed because like I mentioned a thousand times. THERE IS NO WAY MARDE GEER WOULD ALLOW MAGIC THAT IS A THREAT TO HIS PRECIOUS MASTER END TO EXIST IN THEIR RANKS.

Anyway, it's all pure speculation. It may be possible Natsu won't even be possessed. It would nice to see that, we haven't had it yet in the series, as far as I remember



Now that I think of it, this arc has actually had a shittone of character development in it, especially for Gray and Natsu. I think it's only natural to assume they'll clash, one way or another (or atleast I'd like to see it, since it's a fairly logical route)

I mean End was likely split into two. The end personality and character went back into the book while Natsu the body was left in Igneel's care and he raised it up for the specific task of having a personality and character that could beat end since he could not defeat END with raw power

your argument is that Gray doesn't know how powerful END is, and here I stated he has intel and more knowledge from Silver to know of END's strength more than the other norm.

Yeah, power or type of  magic won't have anything with END.



"Demon Slayer" is just hype building term.



It will be part power of friendship and part celestial spirit magic(since it has been position as opposite of demon magic so far).



Which means Gray is not doing anything except showing off some moves, delivering speech and getting knocked unconscious.
