Gray iwl fight against END, that is for sure. wouldnt make sense if Gray dint fight END after gettin such power to kill demon. Even Silver said he could fight him.
That book is weird, if its Natsu darkside would be a little ... i mean. Its a flame demon, probably is something Igneel raised.. not Natsu
You are ignoring Marde. He would never allow Silver to live if he had a magic that was a threat to END.

The critical point is here is that NATSU must not open the book or that it should not open while Natsu is around it.This is interesting.

your argument is that Gray doesn't know how powerful END is, and here I stated he has intel and more knowledge from Silver to know of END's strength more than the other norm.

If Igneel could not beat END with raw power there's no way in hell Gray will. Sorry to break your fangirl dreams. Gray will not get his moment of glory.

First off Laxus is still poisoned. They haven't designed the cure yet.
Second; That fight will not reach a conclusion before the book opens during it and Natsu becomes END.
You really need some rational thinking points to add to your stats because this stuff is basic
