Natsu was getting his ass kicked by Zancrow, even manhandled like it was child's play. getting fucked. you know how Natsu won? through bullshit nakama power and through an asspull where he conveniently freed up his mana, which makarov stated he would've died.

All of Natsu's victories are through plot. his fighting style is one of the generic and lame, consisisting of the same fighting style other main shounen characters show.
