You know that's bullshit. cana wasn't drinking when she was a kid and Gildarts last showed up at the guild. There's no excuse. Mashima fucked up and squandered a golden opportunity.

I was actually thinking that would be a reasonable explanation, but Silver stated 'When I was deciding on my human form, I happened upon a great corpse that was near me"
To me it implies he didn't know of Silver beforehand and only decided Silver would make a good vessel after killing him during the attack and spotting his corpse nearby nearby afterwards.
The only way I think makes sense is if he knew of Silver beforehand and attacked to get the body. Everything about the situation as written now is too flimsy and is trying to be justified with 'Coincidence' which is ruining it for me. I like Deloria possessing Silver's body - just not the explanation given so far on how it came to be.
Actually what myanime2 makes sense except that Deliora didn't necessarily have to know Silver beforehand (why would he need to anyway?). It could be that he was searching for his next body and decided that he likes Silver's body so he give it to Lamy in case he needed to be restored, like a backup or some sort.

That was not Deliora. It was a fuckin empty shellDoesn't mean Deliora wasn't aware of what was happening to his body since he got resurrected later anyway. Well, that's the only explanation I can find for Deliora knowing Natsu, unless there's something we don't know about yet, or it's just Natsu being the infamous Dragon Slayer.

Super disappointing chapter that was only salvaged by the brief nalu moment. Way to render Ul's sacrifice entirely pointless too. Dammit Mashima you had a glorious opportunity

I can't tell if this chapter is good or not.
I don't like the idea of making Ul sacrifice pointless.
Plus why would Silver know Natsu? makes no sense. And about the smell thing I have to agree a bit, it's curious. And why does he use ice magic?Natsu briefly fought Deliora at Galuna Island

This chapter explain why SIlver's magic resembles Iced shell.Deliora mimicked Ur.But then why could Gray manipulate his ice like he did against Doriarte...Well,he is an Ice maker.I suppose this is reason enough.
