Not going to lie, the demon that took everything away from Gray is now in his father's body. That's pretty genius and messed up.

Self-sacrifice never works out well in Mashima's works(Rave had some of the most horrifying and cruel examples of that). He by nature is quite a fatalistic writer and even though Fairy Tail is far more "happier" and lighter than his previous works, it still shows.



In this case just as Wendy failed to stop the face, we find out that Ur's sacrifice was pointless AND Gray has to face his biggest fear residing in the corpse of his father. This will be hilarious mindfuck.
