She would no longer be a hostage if someone steals her keys,she won't waste tons of magical power to summon the spirits,and if Mashima is kind,the spells will get stronger,since the power of the spirits won't depend on lucy's own strength.For instance,she used Aquarius's water even though there was no water nearby.
It reminds me of naruto.There were water style ninja that could use the water particles in the air to cast their jutsu,even though almost all water style users requires a body of water to be nearby.
it finally happened.Hope it is permanent.And that it is accumulative:After all,considering the trade off Lucy did,it is only fair that Aquarius's power is now hers.
But,man,to forever server the bond with her spirits,man...Just Aquarius was enough to do this much damage to her.Imagine if she has to do it 11 more times,she would crumble emotionally.The worse one will probably be Loki,if this is the case.I am almost crying just thinking about it.
This almost reminds me of Naruto:the trade-off to awaken the Sharingan.To protect your friends,you need power,but to gain it,you must sacrifice/lose your loved ones.One can even say it is a empty victory.I wouldn't be surprised if Lucy went astray.
Obviously,this is all conjecture,since Lucy could very well lose aquarius's powers next chapter.But yeah,if i were Mashima,I would follow up with this,since it will allow him to develop Lucy's bonds with her spirits,and give her a much needed power up.
But yeah,we will find out what exactly is celestial spirit magic,especially since there is a link/parallelism between the spirits and zeref's demons:The celestial spirit king and his twelve KEYS of the zodiac,The king of hades-Marde Guille-and his nine GATES of hell.
It seems Marde Guile will be stepping out of the stage soon.In order to free fairy tail,and dispel Alegria,he needs to be beaten.If that were to be the case,someone would need to take charge of Tartarus.Not Kyouka,but rather E.N.D...if that book contains his soul,then where is his body?Once Natsu gets to the book,we will be seeing if he is E.N.D's body or no.That would spicy up lucy's relation with natsu,especially considering they would probably go to opposite sides on what seems to be a feud between spirits and demons.Oh well,this is just me babbling to much,please excuse me!
Oh,Lucy managed to cast uranometria all by herself.What is even more impressive is that she summoned 6 spirits in less than an hour and she summoned the celestial king.Previously,she needed Gemini to double her magic power.
